Reviews

  1. haka kit
these are a must have for all the mamas out there!love themgreat quality easy to clean

  2. Great combo
Put this on your registry! Honestly an amazing combo. Great for capturing letdown or just getting rid of engorged. There’s no point in wasting any milk. Get this!

  3. Love the Haakaa, would pass the ladybug
I used my Haakaa almost every day during the first 2.5 months of my breastfeeding journey. It was convenient for collecting letdowns, especially when they were frequent in the beginning. However, I regret ordering the option with the ladybug milk catcher. I found that it didn’t collect as much milk as the Haakaa, and it wasn’t suitable for overnight use when I needed it to catch leaks.

  4. Good Deal
Good deal on two good products. Both are great to use to catch extra let-down. Easy to clean

  5. Love the ladybug
Use the ladybug literally every feed I wouldn’t be able to live without it because I have such a good supply I would leak all over my shirt without it. The hand express… I’ve used it a few times suction is great and would be good in a pinch but I don’t have the time for it. I’ve used it to catch letdown on my other side when I’m feeding and always manage to knock it off because of its weird shape but it’s great as an actual hand pump just takes me too long to get it going with a newborn. Feel I’ll use that more when she’s eatting foods and breastfeeding and I just want to take off a bit so she can get to creamy milk at the back

  6. Works well but…
Purchased this option as it is affordable option for collection. Pump does well to draw out milk. I have a decent supply. With pump on I can collect 2 oz in 5 minutes without expressing. I think it is a bit ridiculous that the lid for the pump needs to be purchased separately. As for the lady bug. It works great to catch let down but you will need to use inside a bra. Suction is not strong enough to hold tight to breast Size DD. The base of the ladybug is silly. There is nothing more frustrating than collecting supply and it tipping over and spilling. Lastly, since these are fully silicone every fuzz and hair sticks to it. If you have shedding pets I would not buy. Picks up my low shed dog hair and just home textile fuzz terribly. I am constantly sanitizing and trying to make sure milk doesn’t have hair in it.

  7. Amazing product! I wish I had known about it with my first child!
Amazing product! I wish I had known about it with my first child! This product saved my life as breast feeding mother! I had mastitis with my first child because I could not get the extra milk out of my breasts but with this product it saved my breasts, my health, and my milk production! The suction is good and felt comfortable to use. My breasts are a B/C cup and I have small nipples so it was perfect for me, thank you to the inventor of this product! I recommend!

  8. Super!
Fonctionne bien.

  9. I am an exclusive pumper but an under supplier so I didn’t have much use for the lady bug (it’s very cute though!). I feel like it would be useful for over supplier moms especially if they have very leaky breasts. The Haakaa came in handy for me when I was using my Spectra single electric pump and was only able to pump one side at a time. So I would attach the Haakaa to the opposite side of whatever side I was pumping to start collecting milk. I wouldn’t say that it helped me produce any extra milk, but rather it would give me a head start on that side. So if I was consistently pumping out 3 ounces per side in 20 minutes per side, by attaching the Haakaa to one side I could collect about an ounce or 1 1/2 ounces on that side so it would reduce the time needed to pump that side after finishing the other side. So cutting out up to 10 minutes or more of overall pumping time which was very helpful especially during the night. I did try to continue doing 20-30 minute pumping sessions even after using the Haakaa just to see if I could get any more milk but no luck, my output stayed the same each time regardless. The Haakaa also came in handy a few times that we lost power and my electric pump battery died. So I was able to remove a little milk on each side to relieve discomfort until power was restored and I could pump with the Spectra again. So to sum up it was helpful for me when I needed it and I’m certain that both items would be extremely helpful for over suppliers and those prone to engorgement.

  10. I’ve been expressing milk only with this and it works well for me

  11. Should have bought it sooner when I was leaking more at the start of our breastfeeding journey. Catches let down and relieves engorgement, easy to clean and easy to use. The suction from the hakaa is painful at the start and you need to find the best way to attach it. The ladybug is gentler but dislodge more easily than the hakaa.

  12. HUGE FAN! My best friend recommended these to me and they were a lifesaver! They caught so much let down and I used them all through nursing the first four months. I was able to store up so much milk because of it too, which was a huge when for when I had to return to work. Love the pump and the ladybugs!!

  13. When nursing I put the ladybug on the other breast to collect surplus milk. And it works like a dream I no longer have soaking wet shirts. But I am wondering if it is working more like a pump than just collector. And it might increase my problem with leaks in the future. But for now it’s good for building a milk stash.
