This works great for people who leak when bf. I was able to feed on one side attach to the other and collect the otherwise wasted milk. Highly recommended this product.

When I was breast feeding my first, I made sure to collect any milk from the opposite breast during feeding to collect. The suction from the haaka really works! I collected atleast 3-5oz every feed and still produced more while feeding on the other side. It helped with producing more milk. If youâre on the fence I would recommend trying and using. Better than pumping. I never pumped and just used this.

Haakaas are amazing! I went all out and bought a double pump when every nurse at the hospital asked me if I had a pump when i was having trouble getting babe to latch on one side. I donât know why I bothered, I used my Haakaa since day one and was able to fill it with colostrum to spoon feed babe. Since my milk came in, I use the Haakaa on its lightest setting (just roll back the top and put on, no squeezing) at every feed and I usually get around an ounce total. I have been able to collect enough âleakageâ to have my husband take the 3-4am feed every night so I can get some sleep. No active pumping required!I actually tried my double pump this morning while my husband fed my son as I figured it would be good to let my body know he needs to eat at that time. I was only able to get an ounce and a half all together. An LC told me that some women just arenât successful with pumps.Save your money and try just catching the let down with the Haakaa, you might be surprised how much you actually get!Get the flower too as there is nothing sadder than when your Haakaa milk spills. Itâs not perfect but youâll spill less.If you buy a Haakaa, wash and sanitize it right away and put it in your hospital bag. You will be so grateful that you can feed your baby a bit of colostrum by collecting as many drops as you can!
