Great flavour
I bought this because my daughter wanted watermelon in another brand but I dont like that brand as it gave my sister an oral growth.Good texture, flavour, quality ingredients.However I do agree with others that it is not good packaging. My favourite toothpaste packaging is the aquafresh kids pump but I haven’t seen it anywhere for a while. It would be 10/10 if they changed to a dispenser or just something with a better cap that isn’t so hard to open/sticks.Love the actual toothpaste though. I bought it for my daughter but I’ve been using it myself.
Great for kids!
Our family has been using the Hello charcoal toothpaste for a few years now, and we all love it. My kids asked if I would buy this for them so they could try it. They love the flavour, and it makes so much less mess than the charcoal type. I also love that it doesn’t contain fluoride and has natural ingredients. It also gives your mouth a very clean feeling which you don’t get with many conventional toothpaste brands. This will definitely be a staple in our household!
My autism LOVES it
I hate brushing my teeth. I really do. I hate intense mint flavours and how they make my mouth feel.This has changed the game.The flavour is delicious. No icky after taste and most importantly none of that intense mint burning I get from other toothpastes. It foams up really nicely and my teeth feel SO clean after using. A colourful tube actually makes me remember to brush before bed because I can see it in my bathroom so easily.Overall, Excellent buy. My autistic adult brain is very happy with this purchase and my teeth have never felt so good in my adult life.10/10
Great except the flavor
I like this toothpaste for its ingredients. I’ve used a lot of their products including the adult toothpaste and like the feel of it on my teeth. However, my child did not like the watermelon flavor and refused to use it.
I HATE MINT
I always hated brushing my teeth, the extreme-strength mint in every toothpaste makes my mouth burn like hell. It got so unbearable that each time the mint foam got to the back of my throat I was stuck vomiting and gagging for a whole 5 minutes or so – I rarely ate breakfast because the experience of brushing with mint in the morning would turn my stomach, plus I had to wait for the lingering taste to go away. Awful every time, and as I recently tried to ‘catch-up’ for a dentist appointment I just had enough of the mint hell.I saw this brand recommended for people with ASD/ADHD and found the Watermelon flavor in-stock locally, was thrilled to finally have toothpaste that wasn’t sensory torture to use – actually enjoyable for once! I’d never been eager to brush twice a day before then. However it’s fluoride-free, so I assured my dentist I had this one shipping in because it just wasn’t stocked locally. Very happy that both kinds taste amazing, the bubblegum flavor is really pleasant and sweet, and no lingering after-taste from either! I like that this one has sparkles, the watermelon is just opaque white – might be nearing 30 but I still enjoy seeing a fun color to match the flavor of things.I will say after a couple weeks of use, the flip-cap takes some force to open and quickly gets messy, sometimes I’ve opted to just unscrew it from the bottle to avoid the effort.
