Audio stopped working
— Update –It’s working again! I reached out to customer service and they were very quick to respond (and on a Friday evening!). They were very helpful and friendly. The product itself is worth four stars: it gets the job done, but the controls are pretty clunky and the picture isn’t the clearest. The customer service brings it up to a five star review. Overall good value for the money.– Original review –I’ve had this less than a year and the audio completely stopped working. Video is working, microphone is working, but I get no audio feedback on the monitor. Extremely disappointed. Other cons to note: I find the controls annoying, the picture is only ok, the zoom is pretty useless. Pros (before the audio issue): it had good range, it got the job done (until it didn’t…).
unreliable!!!!
since the second I plugged these in they have had trouble staying reliably connected to the screen. I will be steps outside my kids doors and the signal will cut in and out, but they always seemed to pick up when there was a noise… until now. I am writing this at 3 am because I cannot sleep after I woke up an hour ago thinking “wow baby is finally sleeping a longer stretch” only to get up to use the washroom to hear my sweet 5 month old absolutely losing her mind in her room. I looked back in my room and the monitor was silent. now I cannot trust that it will go off again tonight when she wakes up again. I have tried moving the cameras in the kids rooms, disconnecting and reconnecting the cameras etc and nothing seems to work to fix this issue. I haven’t had time to reach out to the company on top of the million other things I do in a day and now i am kicking myself. I’m so upset now that I cannot trust this monitor to do it’s only job and leaving my baby sobbing. we had the older model for our 3 year old when he was a baby and it worked amazing could go out in the yard no issues, this newer model is garbage.
Works well, Customer Service excellent!
I bought this in July and use it for every nap and bedtime for my 13 month old. I got the 2 camera one because I’m expecting our 2nd little jellybean and knew that I would definitely use both. The picture quality and sound sensitivity are both very good. Though the other features aren’t used as much I appreciate the variety of lullabies and the ability to set temperature warnings in case things get too hot or cold especially since the upstairs tenants have control of the thermostat. I did notice my montior started having trouble charging after about 2 months and after trying all 3 cables I realized it was a defect with the receiving end of the monitor. It’s worth stating that the monitor had never been dropped and I kept it out of reach of our toddler. I contacted customer service, they responded the next day and within 2 days I received a new monitor. Very prompt and professional service! I just synced it up with my cameras and it’s working like a dream. I’ll keep you all updated should anything new occur.

The receiver stopped working after 2 months. Donât bother with this item.Update: the seller has reached out to me to remedy the situation and are in the process of sending me another unit.I am very impressed with the responsiveness of the seller.
Not the best
We own a different model and had no issues until the monitor fell and shattered. Tried ordering a replacement monitor but it was sold out on amazon and on their website, was unavailable for purchase to Canada. So we had no other choice but to order this one. We wanted the newer version but unfortunately it only came with 1 camera and we need 2. The picture quality on this isnât the best and the sound is scratchy. The monitor size is incredibly small. I wouldnât recommend this one.
Easy to use and gets the job done!
This baby monitor is great especially if you have multiple kids. It’s super easy to connect multiple cameras too and the picture quality is very good. I’ve used several baby monitors and so far the hello baby has been my favorite. Customer service has also been great and responds super quick to any inquiries you have!
Good until itâs not
This camera has worked great for a couple months. Now the parent monitor freezes and displays pixels. There doesnât seem to be any customer support to fix the problem.

Bought this monitor 3 months ago , works great, can go outside and do work and the monitor works! The screen stopped working suddenly however customer service was fast to respond and sent me a new one in a couple days! Highly recommended!
We had a second child and the camera we bought for our toddler was discontinued, so we couldn’t just use that one. So, I went on the hunt to purchase 2 cameras and a monitor at once. I can’t stand this model compared to our 1st.You have to exit looking at your kid on the monitor and enter several different things to adjust the volume. Why is that horrible? For example, If it is the middle of the night, my toddler starts crying/ screaming, and I can’t turn it down fast enough to not wake up my newborn who is still in the room with us. (Real life situation). Another example, is trying not to let it wake up your partner to sleep a little more. There is no external volume button or anything quickly accessible ob the screen.The sound sensitivity is too off. My toddler can be jumping on his bed and chatting up a storm, and the baby monitor never alerts us. But god forbid I turn his white noise machine up too high, because then the screen doesn’t turn off and keeps our room illuminated and we also get to listen to the white noise machine during a movie.To top it all off, I bought it in February, (it’s only June now) and it no longer connects to the cameras. AVOID WIFI CAMERAS IF YOU CAN. Got 4 months of stressful use and we are out of the return window.
TLDR: Go straight to Hello Baby with customer service needs!I received a broken monitor and reached out to Hello Baby to notify them (I opened the package 2 days after the return date for Amazon had already passed so I didnât have that option.) Finding product support was a bit of a task as I had to click through and read several Amazon support articles before I just ended up searching for Hello Babyâs website where I found their support page and form for feedback. Hello Babyâs Customer Service responded to my form submission within 24 hours and is shipping me a new monitor. They have continued to keep in contact with me and have provided a shipment tracking number for my new monitor. Skip the Amazon cycle of help articles and reach out to Hello Baby for help. Theyâve provided timely and helpful support!
Great option if you don’t want to have to connect to wifi
I’ve had multiple of these cameras over the years. They’re all good quality. My only complaint with this particular monitor is I can’t get the volume to mute completely.
This monitor was the best price we could find that had 2 cameras and didnât connect to the internet, it also has a way bigger screen and maneuverability compared to our old one, I definitely recommend this product!
