The Henry Hunter baby swaddle wrap is designed to be soft, stretchy and comfortable for your baby! It is a newborn swaddle blanket intended to be non-constricting and have a loose feel for the baby’s feet, allowing plenty of hip movement. Just bunch up the swaddle wrap with your hands (like you were about to put a sock on), then start from the babies feet and work your way up to his or her shoulders! The placement of the baby wrap swaddle should rest comfortably on the babies’ shoulders. It is an infant sleep sack 0-3 months of age but can last up until your infant is 4 months old in some cases. The dimensions of the swaddle blanket for newborns is 18″ x 8″ and the opening is tapered to 6″ to prevent the swaddle from sliding off your baby. If your newborn is on the small side, you can tie the loose end of the swaddle in a simple knot for a better fit. We have designed swaddle blankets for baby boy and girl, and have various options for a baby girl swaddle as well as for a baby boy swaddle. Our silky soft cotton fabric is blended with a little bit of spandex to help keep your baby snuggly for long durations and extend the lifetime of the sleep swaddle. Just throw the newborn sleep sack in the wash and tumble dry with your other baby clothes! It will come out of the wash as good as new every time! (We recommend washing the infant swaddle before your first use anyway). The HH baby swaddlers for newborns are lightweight, great for travel and take up very little space compared to other swaddlers newborn. You could easily fit a dozen of these swaddles in your diaper bag and put them on your baby in seconds!

Being first time parents, my husband and I were NOT good at swaddling.Because we were so new to parenthood, inept at swaddling, and also sleep-deprived, we were desperate for something to help us. These did help for a time.Lovingly referred to as our little manâs Sleep Glove, this kept him feeling snug and secure (no startle reflex waking him up while using either). We would put him in a long sleeve onesie, pull one of these over him, then tuck his arms in on the sides. They were easy to put on as little man just slid in and it pulled up around him like a burlap sack. They were soft, somewhat stretchy, and very lightweight. After several washes, they did hold up well but got slightly less soft.This worked really well for probably 4 weeks, which then we stopped using due to our little one growing too big. I would say, downsides are that for middle of the night wake-ups, it stinks there is no zipper so the whole thing has to come off for diaper changes which was both time consuming and also would wake him up.For short naps, though, these were a dream! They were easily put on without the hassle of swaddling. For overnight sleeping, these worked, but I did prefer a sleep sack with a zipper. He also outgrew them very fast. That being said, they did serve their purpose and did help us out for at least a little bit!
Buy 1 size bigger or go with a pouch type. But remember you will to cut the bottom as our baby grows.
