Super fun book!
Great interactive book. The movement has been able to catch my babies eye from a young age. It has been in our book rotation since he was 3 months.
Highly recommend for toddlers!
My 2 year old loves this book. The sliders are a nice change from flaps, the colors are appealing, and quality is good. My LO gets a kick out of âlookingâ for the frog and having different creatures appearing instead. She often sits and goes through it herself.

Have a few of these interactive books for my toddler. This one is cute and she loves to move the pieces! Feels a bit weaker compared to a few others but works well!

This book is so fun! My daughter loves to read it and move the slides.
Loosen the pages first
Slide and seek books are terrific for toddlers and slightly older. My son and niece love these books. Other reviews mention that it’s hard to slide the flaps, and I found this too. The trick is to loosen each page up by bending it slightly in both directions (the pages are stiff so you won’t be able to bend it far, but it makes a difference!). That worked super well for us! Still a bit sticky but much better.
Annoying stuck pop ups
I got this for my kiddo and some of the sliding pop ups were super stuck and I had to basically tear the pocket between the pages wider for it to work.
Book is damaged
The book I got is damaged and it look used.Very disappointed.
This book is phenomenal for my daughter – it’s different from a normal flip book in that 1. it’s a sliding book, 2. the pages are thick (therefore hard to break), and most importantly 3. my daughter loves it so much that she knew who “Hoppity Frog” before she knew who “papa” and “mama” was. Damn, I’m kinda bitter now but anyways highly recommend this book for babies.
A fun moving sturdy picture book.
While the story line is fairly simple, the interactive slides within the book are awesome! My son is 1 and loves pushing each pop up down and stays engaged for the whole story. Book is also fairly durable, which is nice.
I should have gotten this book earlier, the book is so cute, the quality is excellent, the page/flap is sturdy and very smooth when sliding.
This is a very thick, very sturdy board book. Each page has an interactive slider that reveals hidden items. Perfect size holes for small fingers. The sliding pages don’t slide as easily as a similar book I purchased years ago (no longer being sold), and that is why I didn’t give this one 5 stars. Still, a wonderful book for young children and I am sure my 1 year old granddaughter will love it.
