You never know what your kids will take to, this toy was immediately loved and is still played with daily now, 3 months later. My daughter is 4 and loves to set up obstacle courses and code it to smash everything. Very happy with my purchase.

Ne fonctionne pas… quelle déception pour la fête de mon fils de 4 ans qui lâattendait avec tellement dâimpatience. Il y a un faux contact, il sâallume par intermittence mais jamais longtemps et la plupart du temps, ne démarre pas. Nous sommes peut être tombés sur un mauvais modèle, un coup de pas de chance parce que sinon câest super mignon comme jouet.** note de suivi. Amazon en a renvoyé un qui fonctionne bien en seulement 1 jour ð². Jâespère que ça va durer mais en attendant mon fils joue beaucoup avec et câest un très bon jouet. Le bébé vient se coller au nez de sa maman/son papa quand il sâapproche. Câest simple à utiliser pour que lâenfant comprenne rapidement comment jouer seul avec.

Great educational screen free toy
Doesn’t turn right and makes a horrible noise
I bought this back in Aug as it was on sale and I knew it would make a great Christmas gift for my son. Well we saw Santa yesterday (end of Nov) who I had give it to him. He was so excited. This toy has huge potential, but since it doesn’t turn right and makes a horrible noise it’s a big disappointed. It’s obvious that I just have a lemon. But of course I am way outside my return window. I wish I had opened it sooner to make sure it worked properly but since it was a gift I didn’t want to open it.
Not durable
My son played it with hardly 8 times and one back wheel doesn’t work now. This is a not a durable toy. I don’t recommend buying it
capitalizing on the STEM fad without providing value
This is really not what you’re hoping it is. Basically you get a dinosaur with some arrow buttons and a bunch of plastic that is barely related along with a single story to walk through. Zero staying power, most kids will be done with this within a week. Spend the extra money on an Osmo product that is far superior and actually does implement coding principles. This one is a huge miss.
This is a cute toy on its own, but it also has the ability to educate without kids knowing it. The “momma” (as we call it) dinosaur has different controls including directions and if you press and hold a button down then the same buttons that act as directions also allow a play mode where the dinosaur can dance and be “pet”.We usually start out with a little lesson or challenge, asking my children to work together and take turns, and then after we have worked on it together, the kids like to continue to play with the toys. I like walking into the room and seeing them dance with the dinosaur or teach each other things. If you have dinosaur lovers and want to teach them programming, logic, and taking turns, then this can be a great tool.
Wir haben dieses Spielzeug als Warehouse Deal gekauft und sind zufrieden. Der Dino ist qualitativ hochwertig, halt auch Mal einen Sturz aus und das Kind hat Spass auszuprobieren was er da so “programmiert”. Man sucht sich eine kleine Strecke aus und drückt dem Dino dann den Weg mit den Pfeilen oben auf den er gehen soll und speichert es ab. Kommt er an , freut sich das Kind und ich finde es übt neben Zahlen und links rechts auch die Konzentration und Vorstellungskraft. Bei uns hat es ab 4.5 Jahren gut funktioniert, der kleine Bruder spielt eben so mit den Dinos und hat Spass den Vulkan zu bedienen und die Lava schiessen zu lassen.
Ho deciso di testare questo gioco, in quanto diversi colleghi mi hanno raccontato di come ormai si introducano i primi semplici concetti di coding già nella scuola dell’infanzia. Io e la mia nipotina di 3 anni abbiamo accolto con grande gioia questi due simpatici animaletti, dotati di molte funzioni. Il più grande è quello interattivo, ma la mia nipotina apprezza anche il cucciolino, dotato di piccole ruote e che può camminare se spinto. Il più grande ha bisogno di 3 mini stilo non incluse per funzionare. Si possono attivare due modalità di gioco. La prima, da utilizzare nella prima fase di presentazione del gioco o comunque con bambini al di sotto dei 4 anni, si attiva premendo a lungo il naso del cucciolone e gli permette di cantare, ballare, mangiare dormire, tutto premendo i tasti posti sulla sua schiena. La cosa tenerissima è che i due cuccioli sono dotati di un magnete e se li si avvicina si baciano teneramente! L’altra modalità permette di introdurre il concetto del coding, grazie a diversi elementi a corredo del gioco: una capanna, un vulcano, un osso, dei sassi, delle frecce che servono ad indicare le direzioni. Il dinosauro più grande può effettuare dei percorsi, per raggiungere una meta, afferrare un osso, inseguire un sassolino saltato fuori dal vulcano in eruzione, giocare a nascondino. Per fargli raggiungere la meta, il percorso va impostato con i tasti freccia posti sulla sua schiena e che gli consentono di andare avanti, indietro, a sinistra e a destra. I piccoli vanno guidati, all’inizio i percorsi devono essere molto semplici: io, per iniziare, ho insegnato alla mia nipotina a farlo andare sempre in avanti. Man mano che si entra nel meccanismo, si possono impostare sequenze di movimenti più complesse: io mi diverto ad esempio a farlo girare in tondo! Gli elementi inclusi permettono di realizzare diversi percorsi, ma si può utilizzare tutto quello che si ha in casa, per costruire scenari di fantasia! Vi è un manuale di istruzioni in Inglese, altra ragione per cui inizialmente i bambini avranno bisogno di una guida, ma non preoccupatevi, sono semplicissime! Il gioco piacerà ai vostri figli o nipoti nella misura in cui sarete disposti a farvi coinvolgere, a seguirli, stimolarli e incoraggiarli. Non è un giocattolo baby-sitter, di quelli che vi permettono di rilassarvi, mentre i vostri pargoli restano ipnotizzati davanti ad uno schermo. Il costo, poco meno di 50 euro al momento in cui scrivo è forse un po’ alto, ma tutto sommato in linea con la qualità costruttiva e didattica del giocattolo. Spero che la mia recensione sia utile a futuri acquirenti.
Este es el segundo animal codificador que tenemos. Hace unos meses adquirà el modelo del perrito y como tengo dos peques me he animado a coger este también, asà cada uno tiene el suyo y les pueden utilizar a la vez, incluso hacer programaciones en paralelo o para que se encuentren :)Cuando adquirà el primer set mis hijos de 6 años nunca habÃan hecho nada de programación asà que me anime a probar con este producto que está dirigido a niños de más de 4 años.Les expliqué a los niños la forma de codificar de forma sencilla:- El Dino grande se enciende con un interruptor colocado en la parte baja. Necesita 3 pilas de tipo AAA (la que suele usarse en mandos a distancia, un poco más pequeña que la convencional) que NO están incluidas.- Puedes ir pulsando una secuencia de movimientos en el dino (30 como máximo) y una vez que esté terminada se tiene que pulsar el botón central para que el perro realice los movimientos:- En ese momento el dino empieza a hacer la secuencia indicada: delante, delante, giro derecha, delante, detrás, etc.Además de esto cuando tocas la nariz también realiza un movimiento asà que puedes ir complicando la secuencia hasta el infinito.El Dinosaurio pequeño tiene un imán y podemos ir a buscarle. Sus narices se juntarán y el Dino grande en ese momento realizará el movimiento.El Dinosaurio grande también hace distintos sonidos cuando se encuentra con el hueso, con el dino pequeño, etc.Con la piedras (tiene tres) también podemos hacer circuitos. El perro puede arrastrar alguna de ellas porque también tienen un imán.Además de eso hay una palmera, un volcán con una catapulta, un tobogán, las fichas que son huellas….Un montón de cosas para inventaros circuitos e ir probando.Creo que es genial porque puede ser muy sencillo pero también muy complicado, nosotros pondremos nuestros retos.A mejorar: aunque lleva un pequeño folleto de instrucciones en español (en blanco y negro); el libro de “retos” o distintos circuitos que podemos hacer (el librito a color) está únicamente en inglés. Es un inglés básico e incluye viñetas explicativas.Os dejo un pequeño video. Espero que sea útil la información 🙂
