It really looks and feels like a good quality product
It looks exactly as shown in the photos, a clean-looking modern design with no obnoxious logo or superfluous buttons or labels on the front. The white plastic is really white. For reference, I used white corrugated cardboard sheets for the bottom and back in my photo.The numbers are easy to read and have much less of a shadow than my other unit which I bought from the dollar store. There’s also much less of a mirror effect in comparison, as you can see in my photo. It also looks and feels like a better product.The built-in magnet in the back of the unit is quite strong, I was actually surprised when I put it on the side of my PC case because I was expecting something much weaker. So unless you’re putting this on a fold-down door or on the fridge an off-road RV, I think it’s going to stay in place.As with most humidity monitors, the percentages are always a bit off between different units. I have four different monitors in my room right now, all within inches of each others, some are a bit higher on the desk than others. As you can see in my photo, my two decades old Bionaire unit shows 59%, my five dollar unit from the dollar store shows 63%, this unit also shows 63% and my HomePod mini says 64%.So assuming the HomePod mini is the most precise device – because it costs more and therefore “should” have higher quality sensors – and two units only showing a 1% difference from the HomePod mini, we could conclude that both my dollar store unit and this one from Amazon are quite precise in reporting their humidity percentages and that my over-two-decades-old unit is the one that’s way off with a 5% difference.There’s only three minor problems with the design:- the arrow indicators should be more obvious in the coloured bars, especially the blue one. Using a lighter shade of blue would fix this;- the label under the blue bar says “wet” instead of “humid”. I blame both the imprecise english language (dry air/dry clothes vs humid air/wet clothes) and possibly the translation software and/or the actual translator person for that error;- the bottom bezel is a bit bigger than the top and sides. The difference is not very obvious, but once you notice it, you can’t not see it. At least it makes it seem “bottom heavy” which looks natural unless you like to install your displays upside-down.Last point, both negative and positive:- it uses a CR2450 battery, something I didn’t even know existed. Using a CR2032, a much more common coin cell battery, would have made replacement much easier. That being said, the capacity of a CR2032 is only up to 235mAh while a CR2450 can be up to 620mAh, so it means the battery should last more than two and a half times longer than a CR2032, which is a good thing. And there’s also plenty of low-cost CR2450 options right here on Amazon if you can’t find those at your local dollar store.

Love this product.
I bought one of these couple years back when I attempt to grow Bonsai Trees. It didn’t turn out well.. but this product is very helpful now when I start caring for Carnivorous Plants. Having a readable screen to tell me both the Temperature and Humidity with a neat magnet on the back and a kickstand to hold it up. Would recommend!

Very easy to setup and use
The magnetic mount makes placement a breeze, I bought it for use in my greenhouse, the record of highest and lowest temperature/ humidity is a great asset. My plants are doing much better since I got this unit. The large LED display is easy to read even in sunlight.

Well it works perfectly. I’ve even tested it in a room that had a temperature of 45-5 degrees for about 5 days. It managed itself easily and didn’t break. It shows moisture and dryness indicators very well too. However it says that every 24 hours it will show the overall degree difference. Well I sometimes see that it just automatically resets every couple hours even sometimes minutes and so I can’t exactly see that function working well. It only worked for the first two days however the rest is fine till now. You can expect it to withstand a lot without worry so I definitely recommend buying this
