Overall, I am very happy with the quality of the videos and features. I purchased four Camii security cameras to replace my existing cameras that I’ve been using for many years after the company announced they will no longer support them. Because I was used to a different system, I had a slight learning curve and I kept comparing. I did not upgrade to Premium, and so far the free plan is fine.PRO:Installation is super easy.”MagicPix” feature lightens captured dark videos in your phone.Camera can connect to 2.4 GHZ or 5 GHz Wifi and stay connected even in areas where wi-fi connection is not very strong.Date and time stamp display on captured video by default.Installing and formatting a microSD card (128 gigs) is easy when you know where to install it: slide the lens upward to display the location for it (image attached) – the ability to record to a 128 gig microSD card was one of the most important features that I was looking for in a home security camera.All devices can display on a single screen.By default audible alarm if turned offEach camera has its own setting, so for example, motion tracking can be applied to one camera but not the others.The quality of the captures is very good. Even through there’s a screen on the window facing the driveway, the capture is good (image attached).Support responds quickly to questions via email. Click “feedback” in order to connect with support and submit your question.CON:The cable to an electrical outlet is very short (38″) for a camera, so unless the camera is very close to an outlet, you need to replace the cable with a longer USB A to USB C.When downloading captured dark videos that were lightened using the “MagicPix” feature they stay dark.When using motion tracking so the camera follows you around is slightly noisy in a quite room.There’s no option to automatically email alerts with thumbnails to your email, so unless you manually download a video or a still image, the captures will display on your phone/iPad for 3 days on the free plan.A passing car is being identified as a “pet” instead of “other” at least on the free plan – not a big deal for me.At night, although captures are vary clear, they are in black/white, not color – also not a big deal for me.

For my first order, one of the cameras stopped working after I activated it and added it to my phone. I contacted Amazon, requested a refund, and placed a new order. Two days later, I received the replacement camera, and everything worked perfectly. The after-sales service was easy to communicate with and responded promptly. Both camers are functioning well.However, it is seemingly a scam when I contact the company to claim the 3 months free cloud service that they honored via a discount code. I emailed and request the detailed information. They did not mention what is the name of the cloud service I should reach out with. The testing person keeps sending me the new discount code.
