I love that thereâs no WiFi linked to this as Iâm usually worried about people being able to hack into this and seeing my kids. This is the 2nd one Iâve purchased because I really love this brand. Picture quality is great and durability is incredible, like I said this is my 2nd one! Sound quality is great and the battery lasts a really long time. Lasts me through the full day and then I just plug it in at light.Since this was my second camera, I just bought the individual camera and connected it to the monitor I already have for my 1st kid. It was super easy to connect it, the instructions were very clear. Gives you an easy step by step – donât feel like it will be hard because it wonât be!! The monitor lets me have the 2 kids image scan back and forth so I can see both or I can pause it on one kid at a time.
I had the Infant Optics monitor with my first baby, and now 1 year later I am almost due with my second. I ordered the add-on camera so I could have 1 in each child’s room. The camera connected very quickly and easily and I can switch back and forth between their rooms very easily as well. I have always been impressed with the picture quality and sound on the Infant Optics. Like other reviews say, the battery life on the monitor is definitely lacking, but I just keep it plugged in overnight while I have it turned on and I don’t mind it.
The primary use of these cameras is to help keep an eye on my aging in-laws. They are 90 and 92. If they move in the night, we, my wife and I are able to know that they are up and we can immediately go and meet their needs. They work excellent in a low light setting and even better when there is additional light. The ability to move the cameras as needed to reposition is simple. Switching back-and-forth between two separate cameras and two different locations is very helpful. Having a second camera is a lifesaver .
This is our second camera we have purchased. We loved the first one we bought for our first child and bought a second camera for our newborn. Camera has great quality and ability to move around to see baby as needed. Easily can add multiple cameras to the Infant Optics Pro monitor to watch two kids at once.
Our little one is one month old and the camera works great! We have two cameras total. Our house is a two story 4,000 sq foot home and the range is a little choppy from one and of the house to the other, but the upstairs nursery connects fine from anywhere in the house. Battery life is only for about 4-6 hours, so we keep it plugged in unless we are moving around the house with the monitor. Picture quality and sound have been great! Happy with our purchase
