Love them all
I’ve made almost all of the booties. Love them all.
I followed one of the bootie patterns to a T, used 4 ply baby yarn as directed, and even used a smaller size needle as Iâd read the pattern bootie sizes run big. However, the booties still wound up super big. Like they wonât fit on a baby. Disappointed. See pics.
This book is a “must buy” for all knitters who want to make quality baby socks. This book contains beautiful designs and simple instructions on how to make them. The Twenty to Make series is always good value, and this one is no exception. There is lots of variety, macho bootees for boys (have a look at the ug boots) as well as pretty ones for girls, and all the patterns (written not charts) are clear and easy to follow. Good value for money, so well worth buying.
Found this book great. I had already bought this book before thought I’d lost it so got another one. That’s how good it was. How ever found the first one I’d bought so now have 2. Don’t know how I go about selling one back? I have knitted quit a few of the booties for friends. The ones on the cover of the book are a great hit.
This little book is an absolute delight. Patterns are beautifully illustrated, and every pattern is tempting. All designs are very original, and I will enjoy working my way through this good value buy.
