Levana Oma Sense Portable Baby Movement Monitor with Vibrations and Audible Alerts Designed to Stimulate Baby and Alert Parents. This product is a baby care aid and not a medical device. It is not intended for the diagnosis, examination, prevention, treatment or monitoring of a disease, injury or impairment or any kind, including but not limited to, sids (sudden infant death syndrome).
ULTIMATE PEACE OF MIND: Featuring patented Wakeup Technology to continually monitor abdominal movement and alert parents if no abdominal movement is detected, the Oma Sense smart baby monitor is a wearable baby monitor for infants that offers priceless peace of mind. Because we know being a parent can be hard enough.
GENTLY STIMULATES BABY: If the baby sleep monitor detects no abdominal movement for 15 seconds, a randomized series of vibrations initiates to gently rouse your little one and stimulate normal abdominal movement to resume. Unlike other sleep monitor devices, Oma Sense has no skin contact.
AUDIBLY ALERTS CAREGIVERS: If abdominal movement is not re-established 5 seconds after the initial alert, the baby abdominal movement monitor will initiate an audible emergency alarm to alert parents and caregivers so that they can act and respond quickly.
DESIGNED IN CANADA: Designed in Canada and made with medical grade materials, the Levana Oma Sense baby monitor slips comfortably over baby’s diaper, pants or buttoned-up onesie requiring zero skin contact. With zero WiFi, radio or Bluetooth frequencies, this is a baby newborn essential for infants between 0-6 months old.
EVERYONE RESTS EASY: A flashing blue light on the baby safety monitor unit reassures that everything is as it should be. Offering peaceful rest for baby AND parents, this baby alert monitor relieves the urge to periodically check on little ones abdominal movements through the night.

A must have for anxious parents
I bought this because I wanted to make sure my baby is physically breathing. I didn’t want a device that had to go to my phone and measure oxygen level before alerting me something is wrong. It really made me less anxious at night and while my baby napped. I put this on top of my baby’s woolino and it works fine. Yes there’s a few false alarms but I’d rather have that than a non breathing baby. My LO rolls over now, so when the alarm goes off I know she rolled and put it on the side or her back, then I know she’s breathing while tummy sleeping (we room share). One reviewer mentioned using a stretchy band to keep it on the tummy so even if baby rolls over, it’ll still work. Just place it slight off to the side.Btw amazing battery life. 6 months in and the battery is still good!
Broke
Had for 7 months and clip on back broke but it is an amazing product if clip wasn’t broke wish they would just send a new back
Broke after short use / bad customer service
I loved it. It was great and gave me peace of mind. While my baby was sleeping the clip in the back cracked. Itâs now unusable since I cannot clip it onto anything. We were always careful with it and there is no way to fix this broken piece of plastic.I reached out to the company (since I am still within the 1 year warranty) and they said they donât cover this type of damage.Very disappointed since I hardly used it and I spend a lot of money for it. Very bad customer support.I have an owlet since 6 years and it still works so I recommend buying the owlet instead.
Déjà brisé
On doit taper ma Chine sur le bébé car lâélastique a brisé
Peace of mind
We used this for my nicu baby when she got home from hospital , it gave us peace of mind however itâs quite bulky and sheâs a squirmy worm so it would bother her at times.Very loud , and vibration to stimulate works well. Not sure if she was actually having issues at sleep or if it was sending real alarms because thereâs no app or history to look at.Decent for the money spent but basic
Great!
Like it small compact and gives much needed reassurance and piece of mind.
Lots of false warnings, broke after 3.5 months
It initially was good peace of mind, but it gave off so many false warnings. Sometimes several a night. It ended up training me to just try and shut it off rather than check on my child, not good. It broke after 3.5 months, it would turn itself on and off. Eventually the off button just stopped making noise so I never knew if I was turning it off or if it had already turned itself off at some point in the night, which it would do. Changing the battery multiple times didnât help. Couldnât get a refund because of the time frame, and they wouldnât send a new one until I sent the broken one back. Problem is I donât want my child going unmonitored for that long, weeks maybe. Thatâs not peace of mind! Like they so heavily claim. I ended up going and buying the more expensive monitor I originally wanted.
Ok I guess
This we used one night and had a few false alarms,Our baby used a swaddle so we had to clip onto her diaper, when the alarm when off ( false alarm ) it was a pain to turn offI guess false alarms are better then no alarms
I got the package fast (to EU) and the sensor works nicely, although we have had a few false alarms (and possibly one real situation). It is very easy to put on and to attach with the clip. I like it much better than our previous Snuza Hero which has to be put on a level surface to put on, gives more false alarms, has to be attached to the diaper, is really hard to attach, and leaves red marks on baby’s belly.
So far this little device is pretty great. I love that it is simple and lofi. I did not like the ones with apps and Bluetooth because they gave false alarms. This one has a battery and just works as it should. The only criticism I would have is the alarm is not as loud as other baby sleep monitors. Like the Snuzi is LOUD but it also gives false alarms. So my actual rating would probably be 4.5x If you have a baby monitor on though you would totally hear this one if it goes off. Taps the baby too. Itâs definitely given us a lot of piece of mind. We use it for naps and bedtime! Oh one piece of advice I saw from another reviewer that was super helpful – cut an elastic waste band from another piece of baby pants for your kid and use it as a strap. Because not every outfit has buttons or pants.
I purchased two monitors for use with Twins. My twins are two months old and these have been great, I use them in conjunction with a Newton Mattress and a Baby Sense under the mattress crib monitor. My larger twin (10lbs 6oz) is a back & slide sleeper and weâve had 3 false alarms that I believe are due to in accurate readings while on his side as he is breathing normally when they alarm. This being said, Iâll take the false alarm over no alarm any day. My smaller twin (8 lbs 4oz) is a a back sleeper and hasnât had any alarms sound. They are easy to use, I sleep them in a onesie/ footed pants combo to have a waist band to clip them to. Clipping them to the diaper doesnât seem as comfortable for their skin. Iâve also used button up sleepers and clipped them sideways through the button opening and that seems to be the most secure and comfortable way to attach them but harder for diaper changes in the night. I like that thereâs a blue light that continues to flash as theyâre on for peace of mind. The alarm is easily heard in the same room as baby, I wouldnât feel comfortable using them if baby slept in a separate bedroom. I love that they arenât WiFi/ App dependent and was a huge selling point for me. I highly recommend these for the newborn stage, I will be curious to see how they work as they start to roll and move about in their cribs as they age, but for the 0-3months stage theyâre doing great. I also appreciate the affordable pricing, I got them on sale under $70. I recommend. I previously purchased the U-Sense monitors and didnât like them, they relied on an app that didnât give me peace of mind, didnât seem accurate on temperature and movement readings and had to have a separate base station purchased to make it twin compatible.
This gives such peace of mind! It works beautifully, I feel so comfortable knowing it makes a sound when it powers on or off so if the battery were to die in the middle of the night (it hasnât yet) it would make a sound that wakes me so I would know he was not being monitored any longer. So far only false. Alarm was while he was swaddled. (Which I learned after is not recommended with this monitor.) even when it alarms while Abby is asleep it doesnât wake him enough to ruin his slumber, just gets him into a less deep sleep. I am already considering buying a second just in case this one were to ever quit working so we wouldnât have to do a night without it. Affordable, reliable, itâs perfect!
this is my absolute favorite thing ive bought for my daughter, i recommend to every new and expecting mom i come across. its so simple and the only thing that helped me keep my peace of mind when my daughter decided she can only sleep when her face is stuffed in the side of her crib. the only times ive had false alarms is when i didnt swaddle her tightly enough and it falls off. i had so many issues with another brand that claimed to check temperature, heart rate, oxygen levels etc, it was never accurate and gave me so much anxiety. but with this one i can find comfort knowing shes definitely breathing, because if it didnt recognize some sort of movement it would go off.
