Great little unit
After purchasing several humidifiers and ultimately being disappointed, I finally found one that is a keeper!PROS:- Great mist output. In the highest setting it puts out an impressive output that shoots upwards. I’ve been using this for a big open room, and for a little unit it is able to increase and maintain the humidity- Small sleek design- Knob control for adjusting the mist output you desire- Top fill reservoir for easy refillsCONS:- The base makes a noticeable sound, but not enough to be annoyed. Honestly, I put this in the cons because it’s not as quiet as I’d like it to be but it doesn’t bother me. It sounds like a mini wind tunnel or like a low white noise machine. It’s actually soothing and I like it
Works great!
Been using this for little over a month now and I think it’s great! My room is quite small so I don’t fill it to the max, but about 1/3rd is typically enough for the night and it does shut off on its own which is convenient. Plus the only indicator it’s sleep mode is a small red light which isn’t bothersome at all.I use this thing with distilled water and essential oils more or less every night and I clean it out with vinegar and water (as how instructed) only once a week instead of every 3 days but even then I’ve had no mold or weird smell problems. It’s actually super easy to clean and it’s really light despite its size which is a huge help for someone like me who has ADHD and weak noodle arms.The only reason I put 4 stars for the noise level is because there IS a hum that can be audibly heard (disclaimer: my small room and I put this pretty close to my bed, so it might not even be audible in a big room) so it’s not totally silent. Ironically, for me personally this is better because it now doubles as a white noise machine which is awesome lol. All in all this has saved my room and my skin from being dry as hell all while looking pretty sleek so I’d recommend it!
Very Misty
Even on the lowest possible setting, this unit kicks out a TON of mist. I’m not sure why it needs to. It is super quiet and no disturbing lights disrupt your sleep at night which I love. I also like that you can fill it from the top so easily. “Easy cleaning” is a bit of false advertising as the deep clean is quite involved by the sounds of it (reading the manual, this involves disassembly and soaking in vinegar etc). Otherwise it works well for my purposes. I have used distilled water in mine which they recommend so hopefully will prolong the unit.
Great plant humidifier, not an eye sore
It starts misting almost immediately once on.Cool mister, not a heater mister.I wanted a small-ish humidifier for plants in the living room.This one is a pretty nice looking, branding is minimal which I like, and itâs very easy to use.It mists from the top of the unit, has a directional spout for the mist.A full tank of water easily lasts 10hours+

Great Humidifier!
This is the best humidifier I have ever used! And, I’ve had many! It’s a large capacity, easy to fill; easy to clean! And, the simple knob adjustment is great, and easy to use. No more complicated settings and flashing lights! Highly recommend!
Quiet and efficient but seems to need cleaning more often
I bought this for my bedroom during the dry winters and used it daily all of last winter. A full tank of water lasts about 24hrs. On the whole this is a good product, my only complaint is that compared to other humidifiers I have noticed this one tends to get a build up of bacteria under the water tank. I have never noticed this with other humidifiers so I’m not sure why this is different, but if I don’t clean it monthly or more often, I seem to get the nasty looking pink bacteria building up on the bottom. And that stuff is not healthy. So maybe this is just something local to the area I’m in, but as mentioned I have not seen this happen before in other humidifiers I have used in the same condo (have had Honeywell and Dyson brands).
Very effective humidifier
The humidifier has been working well increasing the humidity of my bedroom.
It’s time to write a review. We live in the northeast so humidity during most of the year is not as issue. After two years of keeping our large bedroom and attached room humidified during winter months, I can attest to the units reliability and operation. Not sure if the humidity readings are exact, but the equipment runs when the humidity drops below the setting and stops running when the humidity setting is reached. We have forced hot air heat in our home, so the super fine mist, (warm or cool – depending on the setting), helps with breathing while we sleep, keeps my acoustic guitars properly humidified and was well worth the cost. Will buy another for a downstairs room with a gas fireplace that also needs some moisture in the air.

I took a chance on this. I like the Levoit brand, I have an air purifier by them. It works great. But, there were mixed reviews on many of their humidifiers. This one, in particular, I liked the best because of the size and price but it had zero reviews. On their website, it says “new” so I guess that’s why. But, I am really glad I bought this. It is so quiet, it doesn’t make bubbling or gurgling noises like my Vicks humidifier did. It’s a top fill which makes it really easy to pour the water in. It’s a perfect size too! I keep it on my nightstand. I do have a little washcloth under it just in case it does leak because my old humidifier did all the time, but it has not yet so it’s just a precaution. Despite it being smaller than my old humidifier, when filled to the max fill line it lasts pretty long before needing a refill, which is nice. It doesn’t take very long to clean and comes with a brush to get in the nook and crannies (or you can just use a paper towel). It’s amazing. I also love how simple it is. There was a similar one that connected to an app, but sometimes that stuff doesn’t work right. This has a simple on-off dial and you adjust to how much mist you want coming out. Very easy.Now, something I have realized from scrolling through hundreds of reviews for other Levoit humidifiers and non-Levoit ones, most people don’t know how to use humidifiers properly. First off, you need to read the instruction manual. There you will learn you need to use purified or distilled water. If you don’t want to go and buy either of those from the store constantly, then don’t use a humidifier. I buy distilled water in the jugs from the water aisle. This is especially important if you live somewhere with hard water. I live in Arizona and we have very hard water (and our house has no soft water filter), I used to use tap water in my old warm mist humidifier and there would be so much mineral build-up. I know better now. Apparently, if you use tap water in a cool-mist humidifier, it may cause white dust around the unit. But, since I use distilled I have not had this issue. You will also learn from the manual how and how often to clean it. You should clean it when it’s brand new, you should change the water daily, and you should clean it every 3 days. There are also instructions to do a deep clean if necessary. I use vinegar to clean it as per the instructions every 2-3 days. Also, I make sure to clean every little corner and clean the inside of the top spout. I have seen SO many reviews where people complain of mold (in other models) and this is almost always because they aren’t cleaning their humidifier enough or cleaning it properly. I saw a one-star review and the entire base and inside were filled with dark green mold, they said they hadn’t cleaned it in 3 weeks! That’s crazy! Please don’t do that! As long as you take care of your humidifier, use it right, and clean it right you will have no mold problem.I have had it for 2 weeks now. I live in Arizona so it’s about 5% humidity here. My skin is so dry and after coming back from a Caribbean vacation (where it is very humid), I knew I needed more moisture in the air and this humidifier has done the trick. My skin is doing so much better now. I also have pretty bad allergies and my nose feels much less dry all the time, too which is nice. I highly recommend it!!!
