Unfortunately, I had read through so many descriptions that I missed the fact that these ones are not motion sensing; only daylight sensing; which is of no use to me. I don’t need or want them on all night, or, all night AND day in my dark halls and bathrooms.I like the size and tidy look of these ones, and they seem to work fine, not shockingly bright **** with a choice of soft amber light, or slightly brighter blue light.It’s a shame they have to go back, none of the motion sensing lights have as sleek a look as these.**** correction: SOME of them are not shockingly bright. At least one of them is way too bright with no dimmer.

I’m so glad I bought these! I needed some lights for the different rooms in my home that activated in the dark so that I could stop walking into things at night on my way to the bathroom. I love the two light options and these are very affordable. Great purchase!
Look great, work great, very bright
I must have glossed over the reviews, these are much brighter than expected. For some areas this was fine, but we’re too bright for others. With spray adhesive I glued paper on to the front to act as a filter/diffuser and then a layer of thin plastic to keep things crisp. Helped a lot, very happy with the results.Price is great and with some crafty hacking the brightness can be toned down as needed.
Very bright
I put these lights in my hallway, bathroom and foyer. They are nice and bright (I used the cool white). No need to put lights in the middle of the night if you have to get up.

Way too bright for us
If youâre looking for what is probably the brightest nightlight out there then this is probably it. We find them way too bright for nightlights. One between our kitchen and living area reflects off the white kitchen cabinet so brightly that the whole room is lit up as well as the adjacent living area. One in the hallway inside the bathroom lights, the hallway and the bedroom so brightly we had to take it out to get to sleep. They may work well with very dark coloured walls with poor reflections, but if you have large pictures that reflect light or white walls or cabinets youâre going to probably find them too bright. The construction seems good. The quality seems good. We like the option of cool or warm white, but could manage with half as many LEDs in them. They must consume a lot of power to be this bright. The end result is we wonât be using any of them.
These lights are wonderfull and bright like a lamp. Definitely recommended to illuminate any dark areas
These work fantastic. I have them placed around the house and they are perfectly lit for a dark room. No searching for light switches anymore. Turn off as soon as the lights come on.
Not very energy efficient and does not have motion sensing, but great pricing and very bright during the night.
I have bought night lights from 8 different manufacturers- different styles and light color- I give them for stocking stuffers. This one is great because you can switch to a warm white-maybe better for bathroom- cool white where you want the brightness like the kitchen- this type flat front disperses the light more towards the front as apposed to the ones that have illumination around the front edge like the vont- the ones that have the light on the lower section tends to project downwards and maybe more suited for a hallway or bedroom. Just my thoughts- 50 cents a yr to operate- every home needs to have them for safety
