My son is 6m now and the mattress (or should I say, flimsy foam pad) that came with our bassinet was fine for his first month or two, it lays on a piece of wood board but after a few months of him sleeping in it you could see the indentation in it and you just know it’s not comfortable for him. I don’t want him sleeping on a hard board, I’ve been searching and searching for a mattress for a young baby/infant for a couple months that was soft yet firm enough to be safe and comfortable and this is it!! I am sooo soooo glad I found this. We have bought and returned so many of them because the ad was misleading and it was just a mattress cover or even though the dimensions said they would fit, what we got was totally different or it was just another flimsy piece of foam that has no support or comfort for our little man’s growing spine. This is THE best he literally loves it. He’s always slept wonderfully but of course would toss and turn and make noises while doing so, I presumed because he was just uncomfortable and I’m pretty sure I was right. He sleeps not only completely sound through the night but most of the time he’s not even adjusting himself into a million different positions trying to get himself comfy. I love it!!! And so does our perfect lil man ððð
