My 15 month old loooves this puzzle
My 15 month old has been doing this puzzle since he got it for Christmas, hasnât tired of it yet. He caught on quick and does it at least 3-4 times a day. The chunky handles are a must have for little hands. So many learning opportunities with this puzzle too! Naming, fine motor skills, animal sounds, etc. Highly highly recommended!

This toy is a hit. Itâs Alara approved. My favorite part of this toy is the big knobs. They are the perfect size for her hands. Itâs helped her with her fine motor skills. I love seeing her progress in real-time. This video is the first time she got one of the pieces back into the hole all the way and she was very proud. Youâre getting quality with your money. Itâs not going to break with rough hands. Iâve bought other puzzles and they donât hold up. You end up wasting money buying a bunch of cheap ones. Itâs her first puzzle and it is such good quality. Itâs not too heavy or too difficult. Sheâs 15 months and has really starting engaging with puzzles. We watch Miss Rachel and Sesame Street and I sing her the song and point to the animals along with Miss Rachel. It really drives home the point with music and sheâs learning even faster since Iâve starting doing this. There are screws in the product and my daughter has messed with them and none of the screws have loosened at all. In my mind Iâm aware of the screws and inspect all her toys each day for any signs of weakness. I recommend doing that anyway with every toy. No matter the quality inspect your childrenâs toys.
Great quality and colours and nicely designed for little hands
The edge of the board was quite sharp and not really safe for babies and child. Sawdust was found when the packaging material was removed. Very disappointed by this product.
The jumbo knob is very user friendly for toddler small hands who are still trying to master their hand eye co-ordination. I bought this for my son when he was 14 months and so his first way of playing with it was to take out all the pieces from it’s slot, so the jumbo knot is quite handy. He began to show interest in putting the puzzle pieces together only when he turns 17 months and have mastered it by 19 months, it is a very challenging puzzles because of the shapes but very enjoyable and appealing for toddlers because of it’s big size and good colours.I did not give 5 star because after 5 months of usage – banging, throwing, drooling, spillage and dropping food now and then, (every mom and dad with a toddler will relate to this) it needs to be cleaned and wiped regularly and the corner of some of the puzzle pieces started peeling, so it is not as tough and durable as it looks…I did not expect this from a Melissa and Doug toy products
So well made. Knobs make pieces easy to handle. Language, small motor skills, animal identification, and most of all, FUN! Great puzzle.
