This giraffe was so true to the images on Amazon that it was a dream come true. In keeping with Melissa and Doug’s reputation for making great products for kids, the plush was soft and the pattern was very real looking.It was as tall as we had hoped it would be and it was delightful to give this gift to our 6-yr old granddaughter. The expression on her face when she opened such a big box was priceless and one that would be impossible to forget.It was carefully packaged and we felt that the person who had been entrusted with handling our order had taken special care in prepping it & securing it for safe delivery. The giraffe is cute. I bought this item for a niece. I had it delivered to my office. I took it out of the package and set it on the floor. Almost every lady in the office that came by walked into my office and mentioned how cute it was with a big smile on their face. Some of them asked me where I got it.I haven’t given it to my niece yet but I am sure she will love it, that is why I go it. I was surprised at how many grow ups liked it..which got me thinking that i would make a great gift for a female significant other.As far as I can tell (the toy is still in the bag) it is soft and of good quality. It is a little bit smaller than I expected but I just went by the picture and did not look at the actual size.Overall I would say it is a good buy.
The perfect gift for any nursery!
This giraffe has such a warm and friendly face and he/she is the perfect height for watching over the baby’s crib. We gifted our first grandchild with this giraffe when she was born and at age four, she still can’t imagine her room without her. So now it has become tradition that the first born grandchild from each or our children gets one of these beautiful creatures…

Gorg Giraffe!
Lovely face right down to the sweet eyelashes. Looks like a very high quality toy for a very low price. It’s not incredibly sturdy if you’re going to be rough with it but it stands easily on it’s own and makes a perfect decor piece for a childs room. LOVE!
Much shorter than listing says
This giraffe would be amazing if it was even close to the height the listing says it is. I was worried when I read all of the reviews because I was looking for something about as tall as me – I’m 5’3″ – and the reviews seemed to be mixed. The giraffe I received is no more than 4 feet tall. Likely a little less. It comes up to my chest. Other than that, the detail is great. I can’t decide if I should keep it or not. I’m very disappointed but I’m sure my son will love it so….

This giraffe is large but makes a great gift for the kids. Originally purchased for an 8 year old but the toddler LOVES it. It runs a bit expensive for a stuffed animal but the quality is good.
