This magnetic puzzle with doors is absolutely genius! I have to hand it to Melissa and Doug again for creating another amazing item! It’s durability and sturdiness is amazing. It will definetly last until my grandson (he’s 2 now) will grow out of this kind of puzzle stage.The figures that go inside the puzzle doors are also magnetic and that is an amazing feature as when it’s time to put the puzzle away or baby rotates the puzzle…the pieces don’t fall off our out of the doors.It certainly will be giftable when he’s outgrown it and it’s the perfect gift for baby’s starting at 7 to 9 months (when supervised of course).
Engaging
This little puzzle kept my two-year-old granddaughter intrigued for ages! The magnets keeps the pieces from falling out but are not difficult for little fingers to maneuver. Highly recommend.
Great grow with me toy
I bought this for my son when he was around 9 months old (he is now 13 months) He loves opening and closing and playing with the idea of containment so this toy was able to hold his attention. This is a keeper toy and will help him learn the different items and which one is supposed to go behind which door! For now he likes to just open the door, take out the magnet and then put it back in. I bought this for a friend’s child as well becaus I love toys that will grow with them.It is meant for older because younger babes tend to chew on the magnets and may get fingers stuck, but my son has never cried from it.

My 1 year old loves this. It kept him busy on a long car ride, and I liked that the magnets keep everything in place when he repeatedly turns it upside down and tries to dump it! No missing pieces yet thanks to the power of magnets! 😉
surprising replayability
Our little one found a surprising amount of things to do with this toy. From mixing up the magnets, playing hide and seek with them.. to putting tiny lego builds behind each door, making their version of an advent calendar.
My daughter loves this, great for car rides
My daughter loves this board puzzle. She really enjoys opening the doors and finding and collecting the different magnets inside. I really like that the magnets keep it somewhat tidy in the car, though obviously there’s nothing to be done if she throws the magnets everywhere. The only thing I don’t like about it is that the pictures are backed with paper, so you end up rubbing some of the pictures off if you need to clean anything liquid away (water, juice, vomit, etc.).Overall a great addition to the car!
I bought this for my oldest son years ago and we ended up losing about half of the pieces so I ended up buying a replacement because it is such a nice puzzle. The quality is outstanding as itâs thick wood with beautiful colors and metal hinges for the doors. Inside each door is a magnet that corresponds to the painting on the door and is a great thinking game for your kids to think out which magnet goes with which door. I donât think itâs very difficult as my 4 year old can figure everything out pretty easily. My kids love playing with it and itâs a puzzle that really stood the test of time because we still have the old puzzle and itâs in great condition years later. The only reason why another was needed was for the replacement magnets. I highly suggest.

Non scrivo mai recensioni ma per questo gioco vorrei spendere due minuti: bellissimo, fatto bene, intuitivo, colorato! Avevo preso prima, sempre di Melissa&Doug, il pannello delle chiusure per mio figlio di 16 mesi: forse ancora presto, gli piace aprire e chiudere le finestrelle.. allora ho preso anche questo: che dire, lâha adorato fin da subito, le finestre sono semplici da aprire, gli oggetti dentro sono facili da afferrare e semplici da rimettere, ha già imparato le connessioni âcontenitori- contenutoâ .. ci lavora molto e ci passa un sacco di tempo! Una linea splendida e fatta molto bene!! Consiglio
Ich habe das magnetische Versteckspielbrett für meine elf Monate alte Tochter gekauft.Es kam zwar gut verpackt an, das Holz ist an der Rückseite an einer Kante etwas abgesplittert. Dies stellt aber kein Problem dar, da es auf der Rückseite ist. Die Holzsplitter musste ich vorher aber entfernen, damit meine Tochter sich nicht daran verletzt. Das Brett ist dick und wirkt sehr stabil. Die bespielbare Vorderseite ist mit einer Folie beklebt. Die Illustrationen sind sehr süà und kindgerecht. Die Türchen lassen sich sehr gut öffnen; auch meine Tochter schafft es mit fast 1 Jahr sehr gut, die Türen zu öffnen. Die einzelnen Elemente, die man hinter den Türchen verstecken kann, sind magnetisch. Sie haften gut an dem Untergrund, sind aber dennoch problemlos herauszunehmen, auch für kleine Kinder Fingerchen.Alles in Allem ein schönes Spielzeug. Meine Tochter spielt noch nicht sooo sehr damit, sie ist aber ja auch noch relativ jung.Ich kann es aber dennoch weiter empfehlen, auch für jüngere Kinder.
