amazing toy!
I ordered these for my 15 month old grandson who loves building things, and his 3 year old friend. The blocks are easy to put together, and really durable; the three year old was making a road with them and walking on it. They are apparently also very satisfying to knock down! They are a great deal for the price. I highly recommend them.
Fun and durable boxes
Bought these for my 3 year old and she loves them. There was a teeny bit of a learning curve to assemble the boxes, but once you get it itâs pretty easy, minus a few potential paper cuts. The boxes stack really well and are really, really sturdy. The only issue we have is where to store them when theyâre not being played with, but just stacking them in a corner works.
So much fun
Kids love them, easy to assemble once you get the hang of it. Does dent easily if your kids like running toy cars into them.
Great plav value for kids and their grandparents!
Our grandchildren already have a set of these blocks at home, and everyone has come on a five-week visit to us in the UK, so we decided to get a second set for our home in Bournemouth. The kids love those blocks in Toronto, and they were delighted to see another set, with which we could all play, when they got to our flat. The play value in the blocks is tremendous, especially for children with a creative mindset, and they encourage co-operative play as well. An excellent product.
Blocks are very durable and are actually the size shown on box.
Numerous times Iâve been disappointed with online purchases, with size of actual item to the material and durability. In this case, the blocks are very strong and withstand the toughness my son puts them through. Iâm actually presently surprised with the blocks and would definitely purchase this brand again.
Long assembly time and too small
Much smaller collection than I expected. See photo of all blocks next to a cabbage patch doll. They are not jumbo blocks – 8 red ones are a good size but needed way more of those to make any kind of wall etc I think the photo on the box is a bit deceiving
Happy with purchase!
My one year old son loves these blocks and I am happy that I got them BUT you have to assemble the boxes by hand… Not too time consuming but kind of annoying. They are fairly simple to assemble, this assembly requirement is the only negative thing I have towards this toy. It’s cardboard but can support being stood on, stepped on, thrown around. The colours are nice and bright. It’s a fun toy that helps with motor skills, coordination, learning colours, and exercise imagination. I’m happy with my purchase.
My kids love them
Bought these so long ago and only just assembled them.My kids love them. I usually go for Melissa and Doug products. Quality is there and their products have have a lot of versatility. These are not as sturdy as other cardboard blocks you might find in daycares, but still a load of fun for my kids.
I’m coming back after 5 years to write a review for these blocks, since I’ve been very impressed with them. We got them in November 2019 and have had a now 8, 6, and 2 year old play with them in the most creative and not so gentle ways. They walk on them, throw them, and stack them, then run threw them. So much activity and they are still holding up. Yes, some blocks need some duck tape, but that has only been added in the last year or so, once my two oldest boys started to get heavier and still walk on them and still fairly regularly play with them even at 6 and 8. . . I’ve had to throw a few away for various reasons not related to their sturdiness. I’ve been very impressed.
This is a great product. When it arrived the box was very large so I was surprised to discover that it was flat pack and that all the boxes needed assembling individually. However, they were satisfyingly large when built, and they are very versatile. My two-year-old builds towers with them that are taller than himself and then gleefully bashes into them to knock them down. My six-year-old likes to construct flat mazes across the floor and put dinosaurs in them. My 11-year-old likes to build wide walls across doorways with them and ask for passwords to get through. A great versatile toy that will be used for many years. One of the reviews I read before I bought this said that the cardboard was robust enough to support the weight of a child. I would disagree with that. It is thick cardboard and the blocks are still in very good shape after six months and lots of play, however one of them has been a bit squashed by my two-year-old standing on it, so I would discourage children from climbing on them.
Good fun but so much overpriced and tedious to assemble
