Does the job, a little flimsy
This product is used on my patio for helping me contain my puppy. There are really not many gates like this available, most are not nearly as wide. The gate is suitable for a small dog that wonât test its strength to any large degree. It looks good and I would buy it again. The gate is not super rigid because of the long span so that will need to factor into your buying decision.
Great product! But if your dog chews than wood is not a good option for you.
This product did exactly what it was intended to do. And worked very well. As I was a whelping foster and I needed to separate my dogs from the whelping room and later the puppies.Although, it was great product; I failed to think that puppies chew.Yes, sadly one of my bars has been chewed. This of course is not the productâs fault. But, as my own dogs are not chewers it wasnât something I considered in advance.
Not worth the buy
Not a good buy unless itâs for a toy breed dog who canât just high.Gate is very low and extra flimsy! I think thereâs a typo in the installation instructions, it doesnât account for the hardware drop into the eye screw. It ended up sitting about 1/4 inch from where it needed to be on both sides – and I had a tradesman install it. So thereâs 3 extra holes in my wall I need to fill now and itâs metal behind the mortar.Cats will jump over it as well as larger dogs. Any other animal will wiggle between the bars. So itâs good for a toy breed dog that canât jump.
Working well after 1.5 months of use
A good gate for keeping my 3 month old German Shepherd puppy out of the den. The doorway is approximately 85″ and the fence spans the entire width at thigh height. Human adults can easily step over it while keeping puppy out. It screws into the wall on either side of the door frame (4 screws) and each side has a latch that can be unhooked so you can slide it open and walk through. Good design and easy to put together but with it being so long it seems a bit unstable/wobbly when puppy jumps on it. So far so good, though. We’ll see how it holds up when she gets bigger. She’s been chewing the (unpainted) wood slats but only made some gnawing marks so far. Altogether satisfied with the purchase.
Broke in first 5 mins
If you have a dog bigger than 15lbs that jumps on gate at all, donât get this one. Broke in literally the first 5 minutes
Smaller dog appropriate
The gate was used to keep two small dogs safe and it worked. However when a large puppy was enclosed, he was able to force it open . The clasps to secure to the door frame are too flimsy

Love this gate. We have 3 small dogs and needed to keep them out of our carpeted study. This gate was perfect and easy assembly. Sturdiness could be better but I donât have big dogs so itâs not an issue. It looks good in the house doesnât look cheap.
Has been useful to stop my dog from entering our kitchen
We bought this gate to span a large area. Install was easy. The gate is slightly flimsy when fully expanded and we expect that out toddler or dogs will soon push through. So far, it has held up. If you have well behaved dogs or kids, this product will work fine.

Iâve been using this gate as a baby gate, and itâs been a fantastic addition to our home! The extra-wide design easily spans our entryway so our little one doesnât rush for the stairs. The 24-inch height is idealâtall enough to deter crawling babies but not too high for easy access. The natural wood finish blends nicely with our home decor, and itâs sturdy yet easy to move when needed. Highly recommend it for parents looking for a stylish and functional safety solution!
