The hifold fit-and-fold booster seat in not an infant seat. hifold does not include and integrated harness and hifold is only suitable for children aged 4-years old and above who are taller than 40″ and weigh more than 40 pounds.

We flew abroad and did a LOT of driving in rented cars. The cost of renting a car seat for a child is insane — about $15/day. Yes, it is a sizeable thing to have to lug around airports, etc. (it takes up about 3/4 the space of a carry-on suitcase when folded), but by buying this foldable seat we more than saved the cost of renting a seat, and now have this as a decent extra seat going forward.Also: if you are considering getting an inflatable booster seat instead then note that we also considered that and bought one in comparison; but IMO this product gives way more sense of security to your loved one, so it is worth lugging the extra bulk when travelling.It’s a bit pricey at $200, and I wish the seat had built in connectors to the car’s anchor points. But being the only foldable proper seat that can go on a plane, I am happy to give 5 stars for being basically the only real option on the market.
Used a smaller roller (carry on size) to stash and still had a little room to fit a couple sweaters/shoes in the bag. Once you figure out how everything folds itâs super quick. This was perfect as I needed to uber to/from the airport and little one was comfortable and love how quick it is to setup and fold down. Worth every penny!
I love this for travel only but please make sure to hold it when your making turns in the care – this seat moves and is not very sturdy. I have a toddler and was unable to use the normal seat belt across the chest so seat belt was around her waist only. This car seat is awesome for travel, it takes no space, and once you get the hang of it – opening/closing becomes a breeze. Great bang for the price but this is only for traveling/flights for me. I recommend a heavier car seat for everyday use.
I bought this for my 4 year olds first international flight. As you can see in the photo, it fit nicely under the airline seat. It converts to a seat quickly and installs into the car with ease.Itâs a little heavy to walk through the airport with. It would be easier if they improved the shoulder strap which I plan to do myself.My kid really likes using it. They just wish it had a cup holder.
This is a super cool seat. My kids can fold/unfold and only need a little help threading the seatbelt through the shoulder clip. They love sitting in them. We bought them for carpool, and the other kids who donât need car seats have even tried them out when mine arenât in their car because they look so cool! Easy to move from car to car when other people need to drive my kids. Fits 3 across in back seat. Itâs a tight fit, but it works.
