Super Convenient and Useful Cooler!
Big a been fan of Momcozy for quite some time and their various baby related products, and this milk cooler is great addition to some of the ones in our collection.To use, you place the freezer part inside of your freezer, place it in the thermos and then load it up with the included milk bottles! There’s a nice lid that seals incredibly well and keeps it leak proof. It stays SO SO cold thanks to the stainless steel material that the bottle is made from. It’s quite a weighty bottle, but does feel like it can be placed on any surface and stay there sat firmly.In terms of freshness, this more than lives up to the 24 hour time that is mentioned on the packaging. We’ve exceeded that and it’s still super chilled and fresh, so I have no concern about using this across a long day (from start to finish). Finally, despite how large it is, the handle is incredibly useful to have attached and makes it nice and portable.Overall, this is an awesome product that any parent should own! Being able to keep your milk fridge fresh and chilled is wonderful and a really keeps me assured that the milk is going to be safe.
Well made breast milk cooler
I love Momcozy, I feel they are constantly coming out with smart, well made products to help Moms. This one is no exception.If you’re a pumping mom, you know how important it is to keep the milk cold. This can be a problem, especially if you’re out of the house while pumping (ie, at work, shopping, etc.).This is a great solution. Essentially you freeze the little ice packs (they aren’t truly ice) and then slip them into the bottle when you’re ready to use. You then put your pumped milk INTO THE BOTTLES provided (don’t just dump the milk into the bottle, would not be sanitary). It comes with two bottles, which are 11 oz so can fit 22 oz of breast milk at a time. As long as you close everything tightly, the cooler should keep breast milk cold for up to 24 hours.You could also have this by your bedside for night pumps, so you don’t need to run all the way down stairs to store your breastmilk in the middle of the night. You can also use this for non-pumped milk to keep liquids cold on road trips or whatever. There’s lots of applications for this product.The only downside is this bottle is quite heavy, so if you’re lugging it around everyday, that could get a little tiresome. However, the whole system itself feels very well made and very sturdy, like it could survive some drops! It’s also on the expensive side for what it is but again, at least the quality is very high. Another cool product from MomCozy.
Convenient way to travel with milk, keeping it cool
This is essentially a cooler for breast milk or milk. I do love the idea that you just have to put an ice pack in the container and then you can store two milk bottles (which the set provides) to keep it cold. This is a great product to use when travelling on a plane or if you are out on the beach or if you are out and you don’t have a cooler or freezer handy. I think this makes life more convenient for moms especially when they are not home but need to keep the milk cold. With the holidays coming up and family gatherings in different places, this is going to be incredibly useful. The only thing I did notice is that it is on the pricier side, compared to other milk coolers and that it is a pretty heavy item. Other than these things, the product works and it does keep the milk cool.
Quiet heavy but works really well!
I recently tried this product and it has been a game-changer for me as an on-the-go mom! The cooler keeps breast milk cool for up to 24 hours, this cooler is perfect for long trips or outdoor activities. I liked that the larger 22oz capacity easily accommodates more milk, and it comes with 2 bottles for convenient storage. The design is sleek and portable, making it easy to carry around. I like that itâs compact yet spacious enough to store everything I need for a day out. However, it is a bit heavy for me, which could be a downside for some. Also, the cooler comes with 2 lids, which can be a bit confusing at times. Overall, this cooler is essential for any breastfeeding mom who wants to keep milk safe while traveling! The quality is superb and I can highly recommend it!
Keeps Milk Cold
This milk cooler truly does what it says as it keeps milk cold for 24 hours. It’s a great little cooler to keep 2 bottles of breast milk cold whether you just pumped a bottle or two and need to store it till you get home, or taking/sending breast milk with baby. The style of the bottle is similar to a yeti or stanley in the design/construction as it looks to be stainless steel material. It comes with a screw off top with handle, 2 screw cap bottles, and 2 cylindrical ice packs. The ice packs do fit other bottles or storage containers; if it’s the same size as a standard pop can, it will fit in the cooler if you didn’t want to use the ones provided. This doesnt have to be used solely for breast milk, as it could also be used as a cooler for other drinks as mentioned before it does fit 2 regular sized pop cans.A few things I didnt love about it are:The weight; the cooler with breast milk does weigh approximately 4.5lbs so it is a bit on the heavier side.Tilting – if trying to remove a bottle using the top twist off lid, you have to tilt the cooler to get it out – make sure your bottle lids are on tight or this could cause leakage.Need a freezer – if using for travel and hoping for more than 1 day of use, you need a freezer to put the ice packs in. The freezer packs do not fit in a mini fridge with the small top corner freezer.The price – As for the price, it’s currently listed as $119.99 with a 30% coupon. I think the original price is definitely way overpriced as it’s a glorified yeti with some ice packs but with the 30% off coupon, it puts it more reasonable for what you are getting but I still find it expensive.As a trial, we left it on the counter in our (room temp of 70°F) house for over 24 hours and it was cold! When we checked the next morning around 36ish hours it was cool but not cold cold. I wouldn’t leave breast milk longer than the 24 hours but if you used it to keep other drinks cold, leaving it longer would be fine.
