Thin Door Frame Cabinet
If the door frame is too thin for the lock mouth to stick, please find a suitable small block and stick it between the lock mouth and the frame.

If the cabinet door is flush with the top edge of the cabinet, please stick the lock mouth to the top edge of the cabinet.

Simple and effective
Installation was a little tricky for me, because my drawer (Ikea Alex) in its closed position is *under* the front edge of the cabinet, rather than in front of it, but I still got it to work. The thingy that keeps the cabinet part and the door/drawer part lined up correctly while you install it, is really clever.If the door or drawer front is quite thick, I would recommend that before you install, you check that the magnetic key is able to work through that thickness.Once installed, it does the job. It wouldn’t deter an actual thief, but is quite effective against pets, small children, and casually nosy visitors. The ability to disable the mechanism when you don’t need it to lock, is handy.Any strong magnet will work as a key, so there’s no need to worry about accidentally shutting the key inside the drawer.

I was a bit confused at the installation at first, so I had to re watch the video and then it was easy to install. Love this product! It’s discreet and I can activate or deactivate the lock, which is very convenient.
Great for baby proofing cabinets.
These are great for baby proofing your cabinets.They arenât visible to the outside of the cabinet, which is awesome. The magnets I just stick on the fridge and used to open the cabinets. It comes with many as well. Theyâre fairly easy to install once you get the hang of it.
They’re great when they work. One has stuck around for a year all rest fell off.
Not strong enough if your toddler pulls sometimes they’ll break. One has stuck around really well for a year. I feel like they need to be exactly aligned.

The magnet in the ‘key’ very easily comes out. It is a choking hazard. Very dangerous.The locks itself seem OK but you can’t even use other brands ‘keys’ with them as they’re not compatible because they flip the magnets differently in the locks.

Sturdy and easy to install
The product came in neat packaging. The instructions were easy to follow and installation was quick. The clear lock stickers are discreet and don’t make your furniture look tacky.
Wish they had more in a pack. Love these.
We had purchased a similar product at our old place, and I recall the plastic piece you mount inside the cabinet being a lot smaller. These were very wide. The adhesive is weak and my son was able to pull the whole thing off. Would have been better with an option to screw it in to the wood.The one positive is that the magnet âkeyâ is covered with silicone and prevents the small magnet from coming loose. The previous version we had popped apart easily. We received an orange key in lieu of the green one pictured.
Let me start by saying the only reason I am giving this 3 stars is because our cabinets have a weird lip on it which make it impossible to put this at the top of the cabinets. We were able to attach it to the bottom of the cabinet but then my toddler pulls the cabinet handle at the top to where the cabinet pulls out just far enough to where she could either break it or almost get in the cabinet. I think with the right cabinets this is a genius idea! I love the magnet key to get it open! We are going to search the whole house for cabinets that will work on because thats how much we like the design! Definitely a good child safety item for those with normal cabinets (You can read the item description to make sure your cabinets are good).
These cabinet locks are okay. These lock mouths are far too thick for any of my cabinets, so I had to install them on the bottom. One of the lock mouths had a hard time sticking the first day, but now its gone over a week without issue. My 1 1/2 year old tugs on these multiple times a day and they have held up. I do not think they are worth the $16 for only 4 locks.
These are a really good idea and work for the time being. However, the self-adhesive in the back is not the strongest. My toddler will pull on the door and break the hook part right off. I have resorted to super glueing the back of the locks and that seems to have done the trick. I might need to refinish the inside of my doors afterwards though.
