This breast milk collector is good. It’s nice that it comes with a cleaning brush and carrying case for convenience. I like that it squishes easily to ensure that you don’t spill a single drop. It does well to collect let down while breastfeeding. This both gives you convenience to prevent the mess of dripping milk everywhere as well as collecting it so you can feed by bottle later on, or put in the bath water, or apply to diaper rash or whatever else you may want to do with breast milk. It’s nicer than the traditional hakka in that the profile of it while on is much smaller, you can actually fit it in your shirt and this will help to avoid baby accidentally kicking it off. I didn’t like the way it suctioned onto my nipple. I found the traditional hakka was better with that and would potentially draw out less milk as a result. If you are an over supplier this may not be a bad thing. I also liked being able to wear the standard hakka without a shirt or bra, with this you need a bra to really keep it in place. Overall a great option depending on your preferences.

Um die wertvolle Milch nicht zu verlieren, nutzt man diese kleinen Auffangschalen. Die Milch kann dann bequem in Fläschchen oder Muttermilchbeutel abgefüllt werden und für später im Kühlschrank gelagert werden. In Muttermilchbeuteln kann man die Muttermilch sogar bequem im Gefrierschrank einfrieren. Gerade Frauen, die länger stillen möchten und einen kleinen Vorrat anlegen wollen, können die Schalen gut nutzen. Das Set besteht aus einem Auffangbehälter aus weichem Silikon. Dazu gibt es im Set noch eine Reinigungsbürste, Kurzanleitung sowie ein Aufbewahrungsbeutel aus Stoff. Die Auffangschale kann leicht von Hand gereinigt werden und sollte danach sterilisiert werden. Entweder in kochendem Wasser im Topf oder über einen Sterilisator. Hygiene ist bei der Gewinnung von Muttermilch unheimlich wichtig, Hände sollten beim ansetzen der Schale auch immer gewaschen sein. Die Schale sollte nach dem Sterilisieren vollständig trocknen an der Luft auf einem sauberen Geschirrtuch oder einem Wegwerf-Küchentuch. Ein sehr nützliches Produkt für Neu-Mamas 🙂 auch als sinnvolles Geschenk geeignet 🎁

My niece is breastfeeding her baby and she tends to leak breastmilk from the opposite breast she is nursing on. These collectors are great for catching that escaped milk so she doesn’t get her bra or shirt wet. The collectors also enable her to use that milk for future bottle feedings. She says that they fit comfortably under her nursing bra and that she has worn them to Target while shopping, which saved her from the embarrassment of having a spot on her shirt. (I remember those days!) Another plus is that you can set the collectors down on the table and they don’t fall over. This perk makes transferring the milk into a container a lot easier. Just to throw this out there though; these Breast Milk Collectors are not a manual breast pump. Just know this prior to purchasing. Otherwise, this item is a great addition to a nursing Mother’s arsenal of helpful products that make her life easier.

These are comfortable and well designed – the material is soft, and they are designed with a flat area on the bottom so they can stand upright on their own when placed on a flat surface. They’re all one piece, so easy to clean, and even come with a cleaning sponge on a handle. There are fill level markings up to 3oz/90mL.These are meant to be held in place by your bra – depending on your breast shape, nipple size, bra fit, and how active you are while wearing them, you might have some difficult getting or keeping them in a good position. I only had trouble when I was being really active and moving around, but definitely try them out first thing to make sure they’ll at least work for you when sitting still. The material they are made of is soft and comfortable, but it does attract dust and pet hair – a downside for me, although may not be an issue for everyone.These are meant for times when you’re really leaking – they’re bulky (as mentioned above, they hold up to 3oz) and will definitely show under regular clothing. If you’re looking more for something to catch small amounts, or to protect your nipples from your clothing, this is probably more than you need.Final comment: When I ordered this the title of the item said ‘2 PCS’ (see screenshot) but the photo of the item showed only one shell. When it arrived, it was indeed the 1 PCS set and not the 2 PCS. So just be cautious when ordering and confirm you’ve selected the set size you want!
