Loved it
My husband and I purchased the sock during prime days and it is a great product. Super insightful. Downside when I rocked my baby to sleep, the motion made the app believe baby wasnât in a steady state of sleep when they were (stopped rocking and the meter would adjust)
Probably my favourite product as a FTM
I originally didnât buy this because we for the Nanit camera but unfortunately my daughter ended up with really bad reflux and couldnât lay on her back so our co sleeping journey began, i finally caved and bought this when she was 3 months and it has been the best thing for my anxiety im actually able to get some sleep at night now, highly recommend
Buy
This product is expensive, but it is worth every penny. My baby is five months and we never go a night without it. It gives me peace of mind.
Do NOT Buy – Glitchy & Horrible Design
This is one of the most annoying, poorly designed, overpriced products I have ever owned. Clearly designed by someone who doesn’t actually has a baby. While it does provide a minor amount of peace of mind, the vast majority of the time is spent cursing the product for how little thought was put into the end user experience and getting frustrated with it because it negatively impacts your mental health in other ways. The biggest annoyance by far is that it gives off loud alarms any time there is a connection issue that can only be silenced for 60 seconds. And you can’t turn these alerts off and leave on the ones you actually care about (i.e., heart rate and blood oxygen). Seems like a pretty obvious feature someone would want. As a result, you will end up with multiple alarms going off back-to-back. When it’s the middle of the night and you’re running off little sleep, the last thing you want is a blaring alarm going off on your phone, your partner’s phone, AND the base station telling you that nothing is wrong with your child, but that Owlet’s garbage hardware can’t hold a simple Bluetooth connection.I am reasonably tech savvy and have tried multiple troubleshooting steps and have optimized our wifi settings to minimize potential interference, to no avail. The app constantly alerts with connection errors despite the base station being located beside a wifi access point and the sock having direct line of sight to the base station for the bluetooth. The conditions can’t get much more ideal.
Extremely useful- works well
If you happen to have a baby that requires O2 checking, this is likely the best consumer product available. With this data, we were able to adjust room RH and temperature to ultimately increase O2 levels and or purge phlegm that would not be apparent without this reading.(research how incubators work and how to adjust your room settings – In Canada this does not provide live monitoring due to health regulations (Believe it may in other countries where allowable)- still helpful outside the hospital setting and best you can get that is not a certified medical device).Recommend purchasing an oversized HEPA filter as well to compliment.Good oxygenating.
Works well but base alarm too low
For the price I’m not sure it’s the best bang for your buck but it does provide peace of mind. We noticed our baby’s S02 levels would sometimes read low then spike but looks like the reading might be faulty. Nice to track baby’s sleep and to see when he’s waking or being fussy. Often the app is quicker than our baby monitor in alerting us.
Helps Mama sleep at night!
I knew as soon as I became pregnant that I wanted this. This makes me feel so much safer to sleep while baby sleeps. Love this!
Great peace of mind!
Love the owlet! We use it every night. Easy to put on and doesnât seem to bother the baby at all.
I am a high anxiety mom. This gives me some peace of mind! I still check on my baby regularly (okay a lot), but this allows me to get some sleep knowing that he is being monitored! We bought this and the Nannit to try. I like the owlet better than Nannit because the sock can be used throughout the house whereas with the Nannit baby needs to be under the camera for it to work. You do not need to have the owlet camera for the sock to work, though I do recommend it!I also like that this tells babyâs heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and quality of sleep (light, deep, awake). The Nannit only counts babyâs breaths per min.Itâs fairly easy to use and get set up! Sometimes it disconnects from our WiFi, but not often and that is probably more an issue with our WiFi. I would love for it to have a back up mode though if wifi goes out! The sock is soft and easy to put on. Multiple sizes come with it, look on the inside of the sock for sizing and left/right foot. I will say though that when we initially tried it our baby was 5.5 pounds, and it did not fit well. It alerted us that it was having trouble getting readings. After our baby put on a little weight it worked great!
La app que necesita que es Owlet dream no se puede descargar en México y la que está disponible no funciona con este dispositivo
What more can I say?
I bought it to use in Singapore only to know the dream app is not available outside us. Wasted my time n $$. Asking for return now.
I enjoyed the peace of mind that came with using this sock. Knowing my newborn was being monitored gave me peace of mind to be able to sleep easier. Fits well, I was happy it came with 2 socks at this price. There was the occasional âfit issueâ if baby laid a certain way. Also, it does not have a great range so anytime you take baby to a different room thereâs a good chance itâll notify. Just a note, if you have a newer router that has a 5 GHz option you will have very frequent connection issues.
