I absolutely love this food grinder. Yes, itâs manual use and not electric but it does the same job as the electric ones. It grinds up pretty much everything. From meat to veggies/fruit. Itâs simple to assemble and use. Itâs easy to take apart and clean as well. It takes up no space at all either. So easy to store when not in use. I cannot recommend this item enough!!
This is not as successful as the ones I remembered. Thank goodness for an old-fashioned vintage food mill. Will keep trying to use this before making it into a lawn ornament.
I like a food mill for grinding food for baby through toddler. It’s easy to use, easy to clean in the dishwasher, and can provide adequate portion of food. This is a great way to introduce typical meals to a developing eater in a way that is easy to ingest.
the ‘blade’ or screen is very dull. The food squishes out the sides and nothing goes into the tube where the food is supposed to go. It is a waste money and just presses the food into the tube below. a fork works better.
This is only for grinding things that are soft already. Previously we owned a similar product, but you could even grind chicken. This device does not allow you to put any significant force to push the food into the grinding mechanism, therefore anything tougher (like chicken) will just spin in the device and not be ground.
