Description

The Panasonic video baby monitor with camera and audio lets you keep an eye on baby with the freedom to roam your house, even go outside. Using long-range, interference-free DECT technology, you can monitor children from up to 1500-feet* away, with a private, secure connection. The KX-HN4101W includes a bright 3.5-in. color monitor and easy controls that sync to a wide-eyed, wall-mountable monochrome night vision camera in the baby’s room or anywhere (expandable up to four cameras). Control camera remotely to pan, tilt, and zoom or play gentle, soothing sounds including white noise or lullabies. A long-life, built-in battery in monitor stores power for up to 13-hours standby time and up to 5-hours of continuous use. Smart motion sensor alerts you when the baby is awake or crying and temperature sensor sends alerts if room is above or below a pre-set range. Sensors sound a chime, illuminate a LED on baby video monitor, and display notifications. Microphones and speakers in both video camera and baby camera monitor enable 2-way talk.  Compact design makes it easy to pack the portable baby monitor into your weekend bag. Refresh rate: 10fps, Resolution: QVGA(320dotx240dot), Power supply of monitor: DC5V/1A(AC adaptor output). *1500-feet achievable in straight line-of-sight. Actual distance varies based on objects in the path.

Reviews

  1. Great
Je l’aie achetée pour la longue portée et je ne suis pas déçue , et l’image est super belle

  2. Works well
Works well for monitoring my elderly mother.

  3. Unreliable
I have bought this baby monitor twice now. So I am the idiot. The first time the monitor kind of fell apart after 2 years. So if you’re looking for something that lasts, this is not it.I bought this monitor again last year after my second child because I already had a camera from my first purchase and thought 2 would be useful. I thought maybe I was not gentle enough with the first one. I was wrong, it’s actually the monitor that is terrible quality. I had come to expect a lot more from the Panasonic brand. While the range on this thing may be great and the features are fine. My monitor has once again stopped working. This time it is in one piece and handled with great care, kept out of the hands of my children. But it’s such poor quality the connection point for the adaptor becomes loose and not well fitting after a while. I have seen this problem on really cheap USB powered kids night lights. Not what I would expect on a device that you are relying on to monitor your baby. I now all of a sudden have a malfunctioning monitor that won’t even power up and get a bright white screen of death.Just buy something else.

  4. Great monitor with a few flaws
This is a great monitor. It doesn’t need wifi it uses it’s own radio frequency like portable phones. The range is good around the house. The pictures and sound are clear in color or infrared in the dark. This is the second I’ve purchased. I don’t think they are being made anymore, but old stock is still selling. The battery has been decent for how small it is.The lullaby/ sound noises are okay. The cameras are cute. The buttons are good.It can cycle through 4 different cameras. Here is the but…The micro usb charging connector in the monitor is a known weakness. I would get charging error and the device would reboot. Eventually the monitor had to be left on a bedside table with the cable twisted “just so” to keep connection. This new one started out snug, but I can already see it is getting loose after a few months. The temperature sensor on the cameras is useless. It doesn’t show the correct temperature and sometimes wildly fluctuates, warning you that the child’s room is 32 rather than 22.The model needs a refresh with my suggestions: stronger usb C connections for ALL devices, improved temperature sensors, adjustable timing when auto switching between cameras (5, 10, 15, 30 seconds). And backwards compatibility with older cameras, because once you’re invested in a few cameras, it gets pricy. THAT’S IT to achieve perfection.

  5. Returned monitor.
The monitor would die quickly which I could have been ok with… the problem I had with it is it wouldn’t give an audio warning when the battery was dying or when you were out of range. I had it happen a few times where the monitor was in my pocket and I was doing other things then I would hear the baby cry (not on the monitor I could just hear him crying in his room) and/or I would check the monitor and it would be dead or disconnected. If you want an audio warning then you get beeped at everytime the baby moves or there is noise (I use a sound machine so that was ALWAYS). I returned it and bought one from Walmart that was less money and far superior in my opinion.

  6. Complete Japanese package
Everything thing seems flawless, just like any other pure Japanese product.Very simple to use. Could have been operated with more modern technologies, but this also enough for a busy mom with a newborn sweetie. Not requiring wi-fi is an asset, remote control and camera linked to each other once you turn them on, as simple as this.Recommended…

  7. Not Long Range
I have a large house. My old Motorola monitor (6 year old product) has significantly better range and reception than this product. The alerts are nice. Picture quality is good. Connection quality is very disappointing.

  8. charging cable faulty
This monitor worked for 8 months and and then started showing a blank screen with an error message saying charging cable is not working. It is constantly turning itself off. Not a good product

  9. I live on a 9 acre farm and have two young children who I need to be able to see when they’re sleeping. I go clean the horse stalls during nap time and the barn is a fair distance from the house so it was essential to have a monitor that worked in the barn. This monitor was more money than I had planned to spend, but honestly worth every penny. There is a lot of work to be done on our land and it’s so nice to know I can be pretty much anywhere on the property and still be able to hear and see my girls. Great product!

  10. Good quality overall. Nice to be able to remotely move the camera, define squares within the frame for monitoring and set different triggers. The build quality is good and solid for what it is.The lullabies are useful though still loud at the lowest volume and anything above the second volume sounds really bad. The speaker is probably the biggest weakness, but I think the other features make up for this.As this is the American version you’ll need a plug adapter for Australian outlets. Shame there’s no Australian version.

  11. I really love this video baby monitor! It is so easy to use right out of the box. It has a nice clear picture, good sound, and great range! My little one sleeps upstairs and I can be downstairs across the house and it works perfectly. I love the smart notifications for sound, movement, and room temp. It is small so I can take it with us when we travel and I love that it doesn’t need Wi-Fi so it’s super easy to just set up and use.

  12. This product with its smart technology is a great monitor/ camera product. We use it to monitor my elderly mother and it can be set so that you don’t have to hear unimportant noises like snoring but you can hear when the person calls out to you.The only complaint I have is that the range isn’t quite as long as they claim it to be. Of course we are needing it to go from the inside of one house into an adjacent house so the multiple walls appear to be acting as barriers. Otherwise it is a great monitoring system. The monitor picks up very well out in the yard.

  13. Great product and on time
