It is so easy to use and set up. I do wish I would have got a cordless set up, but this works really well! Picks up any movement or sounds. Picture quality is a 7/10.
I wish I had this when my daughters were newborns! As toddlers they love to play and get into trouble around bed time and this monitor has made it a lot easier for all of us to sleep. My youngest loves that the monitor plays lullabies and that I can speak to her through it so she knows I’m watching over her. The night vision and picture quality is great and gives me a clear picture of what exactly they are doing when they should be sleeping. It has a long range from the monitor which I like so I can take it outside. You can set up smart notifications for sound, movement, and room temp. I bring it on every trip we take to have extra piece of mind when putting them down in a new place.
Got this for our son that is about to be born. My wife and I both work jobs that require us to be in our home office. Sometimes I will be streaming and other times she will will be building her business. This monitor allows us to do the things we have to do while the baby is sleeping. I love the fact that it comes with an auto lullaby mode in case it picks up too much noise like crying or even motion. Itâs relatively quiet when rotating. The only real negative is the quality of the camera, but other than that, itâs great. I might end up getting another camera or two once our son is older.
In general I love this baby camera and monitor. We have multiple in our house. However, I’m definitely getting frustrated with the cheaply made antenna on the monitor. The antenna does actually help with connectivity but the plastic pieces holding it in place snap extremely easy. They seem to get worn down over time. And Panasonic doesn’t sell the monitor separate from the camera. I’ve literally had to buy 4 camera and monitor combos in the past year and a half, in addition to the 2 I already had, due to broken antennas. I now have a stack of unused cameras on a desk just so I can get one monitor that actually works.
Heavy duty plastic. Feels like a good quality. I like the features of this monitor. Only complaintâ¦and it is a problem is the that it doesnât block out background noise. We use a white noise machine and have a very hard time hearing the baby on the monitor. We even placed the white noise machine on the other side of room, but didnât help!I love the alerts setting and use the movement alert; however, I canât use the sound alert because of the issue with the white noise machine.
