We are expecting and I bought a sleeping gown from Parade because they are a Canadian-owned company that has a unisex clothing line. It is really hard to find companies that carry unisex products. It’s very well made, soft and we plan to order more. Not only are a you supporting a company that has baby’s best interests at heart (gender neutral / unisex parenting has been proven to improve physical and mental health outcomes for your child) but you are getting a great product at a great price. Skip the overpriced sweatshop-made crap at Carter’s and ToysRus and buy from a company that makes the world better for your child!

Perfect for newborns
Perfect for allowing your newborn baby’s belly button to heal over. The kimono style allows for easy changing whereas the traditional style is more time consuming and nerve wracking with a fragile little newborn.I also feel like it gives the baby the feeling of still being in the womb. I’ve already ordered more !

Good product overall
The only thing I would change about this product is make sleeves a bit more wider or stretchier. My baby boy has bigger fists and it is somewhat harder to put them thru the sleeve.
Sleeping gowns are my favorite must have baby item for the first month or so for my kids. Those easy access diaper changes are a must for me. Some babies have been better sleepers than others, but these have made life so much easier with the light sleepers. I love that Parade is organic cotton. I love the color. The snaps are a nice touch as well. I have bought several of these through the years and will continue to buy them both for my babies and as gifts to friends and family.
I have these in 7 different colors, and Iâve given up on any other nighttime garment because this gown is the only one I go for (and these are adorable during the day as well, of course, especially with the Parade harem pants). As many reviewers mention, they are generously sized so they work great for cloth diapers, and make diaper changing a breeze at night.My daughter was born 9 pounds, 21 inches and the 0-3 months fit perfectly, but would have also fit a smaller baby. Now, my daughter is 19 pounds and 26 inches, and the 3-6 month size is perfect, but strangely, she can still wear her 0-3 month Parade kimono gowns (and she is wearing 9-18 months sizes in other brands, but these are designed so well, she can wear the smaller sizes as a tunic). The 3-6 month size still has room to grow for my big girl, so I am really shocked at how versatile these gowns are. The fabric is so supple and beautiful, but itâs also remarkably sturdy and washes beautifully. I always grab these first until I run out of clean clothes, and if I had to do it over again, the Parade kimono gowns would be the ONLY baby clothes I would buy for nighttime (and especially for the first 6 months, day and night).
This was for a gift!
This gown is exactly what I wanted for my grandbaby. The fabric is so soft and silky, and the color beautiful, just as shown. It’s very well made and an excellent value, considering the high prices of most organic cotton baby clothes. My grandchild is a very tall baby for her age, and the gown is plenty long. I machine washed it in cold water and dried it on low temperature before gifting it, and it still looked brand new.
We received one of these gowns in a bag of hand me down clothes. After experiencing the ease at which late night diaper changes came we immediately bought a few more. Our son is almost 3 months and these are ALL he wears to bedâtheyâre an absolute must have. Thick and well-made, incredibly soft and comfortable, wonderful kimono neckline that doesnât press on babies neckâI will recommend these to all new parents!!
