Package arrived ahead of time, well protected from possible shipping damage. Kit itself is impressive: All critical parts are pre measured, drilled and sanded. The glue is child safe white glue and probably sufficient for kit completion if used sparingly ( but what child does ?). I’d personally suggest something along the line of a quality wood glue. It grabs better and dries stronger. All parts listed were in the bags. Not mentioned was a small block of dark brown material which appears to be clay ( ammo? ). And speaking of ammo, I have some plumbers putty sitting on the shelf which may be ideal. I intend to take my time and do a proper job of assembly, the quality of the kit merits the care and the resulting durability will be needed when I use ( play with ) it.

die Bedienungsanleitung muss man etwas kreativ lesen, aber ansonsten wirklich gelungen und ab 8 Jahren kein Problem. Man sollte allerdings wirklich das Gegengewicht gut mit Steinen füllen
My boys, aged 15 and 10, put this together in a couple of hours and then had quite a lot fun using it to shoot various objects in the garden. Instructions are excellent, with a dash of humour added, and the parts all fitted pretty well – I suggest if you buy one, use a Stanley knife rather than the suggested scissors to score the dowels (basically you get some dowelling which needs to be scored and then snapped into a number of wooden assembly pins).I don’t expect that it will get a great deal more than occasional use, but it makes for a good project and looks good on the boys’ shelves.
The items in this kit were nicely engineered, but they shorted the dowel rods by about half, and the tiny tube of glue provided didn’t go very far. If you buy this kit, order at least 18″ of 1/8th inch dowel rod and some white glue so you can actually assemble it. That aside, it will shoot a tin foil ball very well. It’s fun to play with.
