DOESNT WORK! Registers at 33 – 34
I just bought this after my baby had a fever after his shots. It worked great and now a month later I tried again and its registering 33 – 34. Awesome when its so important to have a reliable thermometer in these times.

Works excellent, the entire thing gets an eerie red glow when it detects a fever.it also has the “OPTION” of using the plastic covers “like at the doctors office, those black plastic combs”&^^^^^ that matters, because it makes it more sensitive.if for example the plastic cone option is on, and you dont have one there, it will detect a fever when there isnt one.(this is normal by the way)just make sure its off if you dont use them.My 2 year old just wouldnt take accurate readings with those 5 second mouth ones, this one is flawless.would buy again if this one breaks. (owned now for a few months, and with 3 kids its had many uses already)- Oh just make sure you get that angle right “its in the leaflet” or your readings will be a tad low; and this againgoes with any unit like this.

I used this on my toddler and she loved it! It took a reading in one second, I did both ears and it was the same temperature in both, it was such a hassle using our old thermometer with 30 second display. It would take about a minute which seems like an eternity with a sick little one! The only con is it doesn’t have a case with it, but I had an old clear eye glass case and it fits perfectly in there!
