Works great and tells me the exact temperature needed, it lights up red if itâs to hot 🙂 I love how affordable it is also! Water proof of course and so far it hasnât has any problems with the battery or not working.
This thermometer is small and easy to use. I thought the size would be bigger but am pleasantly surprised to see it be on the smaller end so itâs easier to travel with. It has indicator lights to show when the water is too cold or too hot and you can set that range with your own degrees of numbers otherwise itâs already preset to some. I would recommend to new moms or for a baby shower gift.
The day after the return window closed, I tried to use this product but the battery was dead so I changed the batteries and the thermometer was off. It’s saying the room temperature is 90+ degrees and my bath water was 120 degrees. This is no where close to the actual. Before I changed the batteries, the room temp reading was usually around 70 and the water temp around 100. Also, after one use, water leaked inside and when trying to read the temperature it’s all foggy from the water inside and makes it really hard to read.
Keeps my baby safe in the bath with its great quality and performance. Definitely a great value. The whale is so cute. It is easy to use just plop it in the bath water.
Another edit 4/14/24 : The seller reached out to me and offered me a new product for free to try and test out. The upgraded product hasnât shown any issues and I feel is much much much better. Its has been used multiple times and I feel the temperature reading has significantly improved. All the issues I have had with the old product no longer exists.Edit to add 4/8/24 : device begun to stop working two days after receiving it. Not worth the money, please buy something else.I really liked this and thought it was cute. So I bought it, once it came I read and followed all instructions. Once placed in water, item immediately begun turning on and off. Buttons no longer worked right, I tried turning it to F° instead of C° and device would immediately turn off and then back on, and would switch to a different setting. It didnât even read temperature correctly. What they said was cold or under 100°F was actually wayyyyy hotter than that. Could have burned my skin if I wasnât cautious.
