Our Go To Sippy Cups
These are the best sippy cups with soft straws. Easy to take apart and clean. They donât leak which is the best case! Highly recommend.
Very durable couple of issues
I have bought 8 or so of these cups. Comes apart easy for cleaning. However very narrow and I find it difficult to clean the bottoms even with small hands. I have also found that some spout out from the straw but this has only happened with 2 of them. Otherwise best cup with a straw that we have used so far.
Love / Hate
When l first put water in and screwed on cover, it gushed out the straw. I readjusted the silicone piece and worked for a bit. Toddler was drinking great, then just sucking air, but still liquid in cup. I rinsed it out started over and after a bit sucking hard and nothing coming through. When it works, it works awesome, no leaks or spills, but can’t seem to trust it completely. Sometimes it’s like the liquid is primed and stored in straw,(ready for a mess), while others you can shake and it flies out the straw with each shake. Love the silicone comes out for better cleaning, but so hard pulling straw back through lid. I bought them for smoothies and messy drinks, but looks like it’s turning out to just be another water cup.
Improvement on a classic straw cup.
These are a definite improvement on the earlier model, and on buying these I threw away my third party cups. They don’t leak, and these click when fully closed, which is nice. I wish the base were a little wider to make them more steady on flat surfaces, but that’s a minor quibble. Straw inside easily removes for cleaning, and the latch on top that folds the straw over and seals the cup now also clicks and has a better action than the old model. Overall improvement over the old model.Only downside is that if you split the straw, they don’t seem to sell replacements. The straw is pretty strong, but we’ve still broken a few.Edit: In my previous review I thought that the small valve on top would let pressure OUT. In examining it more closely, because its interior is covered by rubber, it is a one-way valve that allows air IN. This prevents a vacuum building up inside the cup that would stop liquid from being able to be sucked up the straw. However, it does not help with pressure building up inside the cup because of warming liquid, and so my comments about this problem being solved were not correct. This cup still suffers from the problem of liquid being forced up the straw by internal pressure. I am experimenting with not placing the internal rubber piece over that small entrance hole, thus allowing air to travel both in and out of the cup and possibly preventing the leakage issue.
The only cups that donât spill
My daughter likes to throw these, they donât break or leak! Love them.
These cups are awesome!
They are the preferred cup for my 17 month twins and have been for a couple months now! I had troubles getting one of my boys to figure out how to use straw cups but this one finally did the trick and we havenât looked back since!
Get a different type
Wanted a straw cup for my 3 year old grandson, to take in the car, to the park ext. leakproof was appealing. However he can not suck through the straw hard enough to get any liquid. Iâm going to grow these out and get another type.
I’m not a fan. If my daughter leaves them on the floor, they leak. I find the straws hard to pull in and out,and y 2 year old can not pop the straw cover off by herself. I wouldn’t buy them again.
