OK Educational Toy
To be honest, I find this LeapFrog Touch and Learn Nature ABC Board looks cheap and feels cheap. It’s plastic but made to look like wood but you can feel/tell right away that it’s plastic. It’s quite educational for toddlers. But some information is misleading. I understand that some animal sounds are difficult to imitate but if that’s the case, why not choose another animal? The first one I tried was the monkey and I can’t tell it’s a monkey at all. There are few others as well. This is an OK toy but lots of room for improvement.
Basic learning
Basics learning toy. Good for age 6 months to 1 year
Built Like a Tank, Engaging & Educational
[PROS] ðâ Highly Responsive Button Touch Controlâ Built Tough & Durable: Can Take Punishment & Thrown Around by Childâ Educational & Engaging to Learn Alphabet[CONS] ðâ English & French Not Merged[PRODUCT EXPERIENCE] â â â â â ð Since raising our first child, we’ve been exposed to Leap Frog educational toys and they’ve quickly become one of our favorite brands given how important I believe they toys are in a child’s development. The ABC Board is built rock solid, tough and durable; our child can get rough with toys and throw them around, so I can say with certainty the ABC Board will last all that abuse. Moreover, the buttons are highly responsive, provide a clear audible voice/sound when pressing them and offer a engaging experience. Our first child is learning the alphabet slowly and having these types of toys around helps accelerate the process. The design of the ABC board is perfect, has a firm grip around the 4 edges colored in green and come with batteries however, keep in mind they’re demo batteries and will likely not last long. Amazon Basics has affordable batteries that we tend to use for children’s toys to save on the environment and overall costs.I would have liked to see a language toggle option to switch between English and French, since we are raising a bilingual child. I noticed some other educational toys we have offer these options. Just some feedback to share with Leap Frog for future educational toy development.
