This baby bathtub is of good quality, very sturdy, and easy to fold and store. My old bathtub was of poor quality and leaked water. This bathtub also comes with a thermometer. Although I can tell the water temperature without using a thermometer based on my experience, this design is still essential for new parents.

The white portions you see are made of a hard plastic but the coloured parts (in grey, blue or pink) are made of silicone which is much more flexible and accommodating for a baby. What isnât shown in the pictures is that there are two white, hard plastic stabilizers/support bars which get mounted under the rim of the tub. The tub is therefore extremely rigid and stable but the silicon is still allowed its flex for folding the tub in half.This is the only bathtub I have seen with a built in thermometer. Get your perfect temperature to begin with and if your little one is having a nice time in the tub, the thermometer is right there to ensure the water isnât getting too cold.For tiny babies, a supportive cushion allows the baby to recline very comfortably. Itâs like a form-fitting beanbag chair. The baby can be a bit scrunched up the way they like it with its head supported gently above the water and its body soaking in the warm water without sliding down. The pillow is well-secured to the main part of the tub with 3 strong, wide clips. I wonder if they have this type of set-up at spas. They should. Even I would go the spa if they had them. Of course, NEVER leave a child of any age in water if you are not there and paying attention, but having two hands free can allow you increased possibilities for you to play with the baby so having a bath is more pleasant for everyone. The tub also has a convenient shower head holder. The drain is made of durable, soft silicone with easy- to-grab tabs.When your baby wonât fit in the cushion anymore, put it away and use only the second type of insert. Itâs more like a sling and this one is attached securely to the tub in five places. Finally, when your baby prefers to sit up in the tub without support, the tub can be used without an insert.When your wee one has finished its bath you may collapse the tub to half its normal height and hang it on a hook in your shower or bathtub to drip and dry. The pillow has a tab so it can be hung to dry as well. Once the tub is collapsed and dry, itâs thin enough to be slid under your bed or sofa if you wanted to do that. Alternatively, you can unscrew the stabilizers so the tub can be folded after itâs collapsed. It may or may not fit somewhere better that way but itâs more convenient if you donât need to screw in the stabilizers every time you need the tub. If there is the possibility of another baby in the future, whether a human baby or a fur baby, the folded tub can easily be stored.While the pink version does suffer from not being seen as being suitable by most parents as a hand-me-down for their darling baby boy, the grey version is gender-neutral and will be well accepted by any parent. In the case of the bathtub, the medium blue version will also be well-received by parents with any gender of child because the blue can be thought of as being a match for water rather than just the traditional colour to give to males.This bathtub can also be handy for washing small pets ergonomically, especially a small dog with muddy little paws. If you are constantly washing your furry friendâs feet, you could get a sling like the groomers have so your pet will be well- secured and you could raise up the bathtub to the height of a counter to save yourself from back injury. This bathtub is amazing. The cushion inside is nice and soft and my baby loves it. The temperature reader is my favorite part. Little guys are very picky about water temperature, so having a tub that can track water temperature was very helpful and important to me! Setting it up is simple, just unfold it and secure the legs in place, it feels firm and secure to the touch, and the non-slip feet keep it from sliding around, even if my baby is splashing around like crazy. I like hooks, too. This is a simple feature that allows you to hang up the tub after a shower for easy storage and complete drying
Im so happy with this tub. The thermometer is so helpful. I like that I don’t need to buy anything extra to check the temperature. Baby seems comfortable lying in it. And I like that I can collapse it after using and store it away.
