Excellent gate, excellent price!
This gate is extra high and provides excellent safety for our dog. It was easy to assemble and has plenty of adjustment to suit a variety of openings. Good quality hardware.

Great baby/pet gate for this price. Everything we needed.
My family needed a gate that would prevent our little 18-lb dog from going upstairs, while still allowing our cats to go through it (as you can see, a higher installation allows for our cats can to go under but the dog can’t fit), and also a gate that can be adapted as child-proofing later on. This gate provided all that.The installation was rather confusing as it took two people about 40 minutes to properly secure it – but we were able to do so no problem. We love that it comes with wall mounting & a banister kit. It’s very sturdy now, and none of us have any problem using it with one hand (see video), unlike many reviews complained. I will 110% be able to do this while holding a baby, I have already done so with the cats. We also like how it can slide and be kept open as half the gate.It’s simple in design, but the white metal looks nice regardless. The only setback is it can be a little loud opening and closing, but you just have to be more gentle. A little grease spray helped too.For this price point of less than $100, this gate is great and simple. We’ve only had it a few days, but I think it’ll hold up nicely over time.

Don’t buy it. Worst latch mechanism
I purchased this for the top of the stairs and installed today.First of all, after installing the mounting poles as soon as I mount the gate I realize that you have to install them at a different distance from the edge, as the gate is made of two parts that slides again each other. So if you measure same distance to have the poles on a straight line, it wont work. Too bad they don’t say that.Instructions are lacking few important tips.Also, the provided mounting screws are garbage.Most important, after I re install one of the pole, I put back the gate amd I discover that the latch mechanism is made so cheap, and also never get to close top and bottom at the same time.For a gate at the top of the stairs, opening and closing is very difficult.This is going back.The only positive notr could be the banister mounting hardware. That was one oglf the reason why I chose this gate.If I could give zero star, I would.

Sturdy and Durable
It does not require drilling or sticking to the wall. Great for kids safety. But it seems a little pricey.

This gate works very well, and it has a locking mechanism that an adult can easily open with one hand, but which small hands cannot open. Also keeps dogs from wandering through the house!
