Take it slow and easy
Finished project looks nice, but some pieces take time and patience to put together. They had trouble staying together, you almost needed another hand to help you.

Hard do assemble because of the small parts. Sometimes when you force fitting of parts, smallest one get broken. Would be nice if very small details will be made out of plastic, not plywood.When assemble bending parts (seats and hood) spray details with water to avoid them breaking.

Robotime’s Wooden Model Vintage Car puzzle is a neat little thing. I don’t do puzzles very often, but once in a while I go on a 3D binge. I had fun putting this little car together; I imagined I was on the road to exciting places, just me and my guitar. There are several small, fiddly pieces so get your tweezers out. As with all wooden 3D puzzles, this is laser-cut; I found the pieces fit well together.4 stars only because the included glue was dried up and unusable.

This is my second Robotime kit. The kit has easy to follow directions and is well made. Anyone can make it better with patience, stain, paint and reviewing photos of the London Tower Bridge on line.

I have built many of these 3D wood puzzles; and this one was delightfully unique. Some parts are already colored brown and silver. I enjoyed adding a few more colors. Another difference was that many parts are glued together instead of the familiar tab and slot. The kit comes with a fantastic small bottle of white glue. The nozzle on the bottle is just right to apply very small amounts of glue. I used all the glue out of it and refilled it whith Elmers and still use it.I not only added color but I also added a gear shift, rear lights on the bumper, and filled in the backs of the front lights and horns. Filling in the lights was done by putting as much 5 minute epoxy as I could into the spaces and dipping it into sawdust once or twice. After a few minutes the epoxy-wood mix formed fairly well. I gave the parts 24 hours to cure and sanded them into shape.
Be kind to one another
Be very careful with bendable joints. I used uv resin to glue back. And it worked great! Loved the challenge. Very neat details. Will buy another soon.
