Son loved it
My son loves building things. The more complicated the better. Because this is wooden the pieces need to be handled carefully, so durability and quality depends on age . These are easy for my son to assemble however may be a challenge for someone else. This was good value and is beautiful when finished.

My younger bro was warned that some reviews mentioned parts being fragile & so he took greater care while assembling and it turned out wonderful with no accidents. Its very beautiful and a good size and value for money.Durability is good.
Quite a challenge!
Aware that the instructions say 14+ but this was a gift for my 8 year old who has been very into building toys for years. It was a challenge for him for sure! There were a couple parts in the instructions where even I struggled a bit to understand them. He broke a few pieces, but we just used some wood glue to stick them back together and it worked out fine in the end. Highly recommended for patient builders!

This is a nice small size model. it is my 3rd wood model by ROKR. However, I feel like the fits could be better in some places. I did have a few breakages, which I did not have with the other 2 wood models I completed. I really believe this train design is somewhat too fragile for most people, including me.

Precision laser cut and fit
Have patience…the enjoyment of the assembly takes time. I was impressed with the precision laser cut and fit. Yes, everything fits very well. Pay particular attention to the images in the instructions, as they are absolutely critical to the orientation of the assembly. Some items will require time to “line-up” and “fit”. Some items are very small and delicate. Must have a razor blade (or Exacto Knife) to separate the items from the board…make a very light cut on BOTH side before punching out the item. I found that a needle nose plier helped with a few joints. The instructions are very clear and concise. Also pay attention to the sequence-of-order (i.e. 1, 2 ,3 etc) when assembling. There are some spare items in case of a broken piece. Don’t force anything as the fit will work. One important tip is to use the sanding square to lightly (and I mean lightly) shave a very small amount of material for some of the joints as the fitting process can be very tight. Had a great time putting it together. Took about a week of leisure time (1 to 2 hours a day). I’ll be working on the Military Jeep next.
I love building things, and putting together these wooden puzzles that don’t require glue are my jam! They’re a bit fragile for certain parts, and I certainly am not the most dexterous person so I snapped a couple of pieces. You should definitely have a small fine tip bottle of clear glue in case that happens. Otherwise, I find it a very calming puzzle and the end result looks awesome!

Some piexes are tiny and the instructions are pictures with no words. It’s sometime difficult to know the correction postion of parts. I found myself disassembling, changing a part and then reassembling. Other than than, putting this together was fun and the end result makes a nice display piece

This item is not for the beginner. Be very careful as the wood can easily snap with too much pressure. It is great tool to learn patience with however. It is not easy to put together but we didn’t want easy. It was a lot of fun seeing how well all the pieces went together. My 10yr old son is the one that mainly assembled it with my assistance. Can’t wait to do more!!
