Not what I expected
When i ordered this i thought it was a gate however it’s works as either an extender or can be used alone as a gate . It fit perfectly where I needed it and very sturdy too. Very easy to open and close Gates are expensive but this fit my budget.
Itâs a fantastic gate for large doorways, but, the door can be tricky
Honestly, I donât want to complain because I ordered this from the warehouse deals for 20 dollars. There was literally zero damage to this gate aside from the box it came in had some cosmetic damage. You can definitely purchase with confidence from Amazon warehouse.In regards to installation, it was relatively easy. Very few parts to put together and the instructions are easy to follow. There are separate instructions for the wall mounts which you should definitely read. You do need to be prepared to measure each end to make sure your gate latch lines up. My biggest piece of advice is not to rush this part, or else it you will run into latching issues.We measured everything to the best of our ability, and the gate was level and lined up exactly to the latch hole. It does latch, however I do find you have to put a bit of effort into actually making this latch. It can be tricky, and Itâs definitely not âlike butterâ. I find my ten year old gets frustrated trying to open and close it some days. We have actually both pinched our fingers while opening this door, but eventually we figured out how to use it without pulling it too hard when opening. The door latchâs by sliding into the hole on the wall mount and there are days where I just wish it latched easier, however it isnât the end of the world. To open the door you must press down on the handle button and slide it out from the latch.So the door itself can slide, which means it can extend or shorter to fit your doorway. The door also opens by swinging in both directions. Itâs aesthetically pleasing and has a clean finish. It is a solid build, and can withstand my toddler trying to climb it without any issues or concerns of it not holding up.Yes it could be better, but I truly donât think I could have found a better product for what I paid. Even at full price it is still a fantastic product and I would absolutely recommend it.

Perfect to keep dog from chewing stuff in spare room. So easy to install and affordable
Easy to install, but wobbly
I love how easy it was to install! However since it is meant for wide openings, it is a bit wobbly and will break or tip if a strong toddler pushes or shakes the gate. Fortunately my toddler hasn’t tried but definitely is capable! Otherwise, great gate!
LOVE IT!
Get this item! I actually got it for my dogs, to stay in the mud room, and we have such a big hallway. This is super easy to put together. And during the summer, we simply lift it off and put the door in storage. This would be great for dogs, kids, etc. Highly recommend this product.
