Useless and inaccurate
I bought this in preparation for the fall flu, cold, Covid, RSV season. My daughter and I both had the flu a few weeks ago and I thought this would be faster and make a miserable time less miserable. The reading is completely inaccurate when it even will take a reading. My daughter felt warm so I took her temperature and it said it was normal. I didn’t trust that and used the underarm thermometer we kept from before and her temperature was 102. It often did not take a reading at all and would just beeb repeatedly.
Good quality product, takes accurate temperatures. Very user friendly.
This thing is horrible — first — it would only let me read in C which I assume is Celcius — never could get it to go to Farenheit no matter how my times I pressed mode button — IMO it’s better to obuy easiest Themometer you can buy that doesn’t put its R&D into bells and whistles but just gives you a basic temperature reading
Take several readings to be certain.
Mine gets stuck in Celsius frequently and I canât readily switch it back to Fahrenheit
