Needed a sturdy solution to protect a tiny puppy from falling down a steep stairway. After much searching we selected this product. Easy to install although we did need to get more zip ties. Very sturdy, looks good, and provides the protection in the exact way we wanted.
Very light weight for flying and yet still durable and kept our fur babies from any danger of squeezing through the bannisters and being in danger. Just be sure to take extra zip ties that are at least 6â long and a pair of small cutters or pliers to remove zip ties when your ready to leave.
Easy to set up. Safe, secure. Florida resistant, to a degree of hurricane ofcourse.Only negative is that no way to adjust the length. Have to wrap it or cut it (would not recommend cutting)
Wanted something permeable, to see through to the view Iâve got but also allow some privacy. Itâs probably more on the see through side than private. I guess better ventilation. The ties are in precut length less than nylon strength plastic cords and after two months in spring are starting to deteriorate and fall off. Use your own twine or something sturdier to lash to railing.EDIT AFTER 6 MONTHS: Useless for outdoor application. Turns out the screen itself is made of a similar worthless plastic fiber as the ties. Only six months in, and the screen is deteriorating from UV light exposure, i.e., sitting in the sun because itâs outside on my balcony. If you touch it, it will literally disintegrate into powder/dust between your fingers. Donât waste your money if using outdoors or where it will be exposed to UV/sunlight.
I have a little 7.5 lb. dog that loves to sit on our apartment deck enjoying the sun. Problem is he can fit thru the railing on the deck and escape. This netting solved our problem. It keeps him from escaping thru the railing. It was very easy to put up and it only took us about 20 minutes. We have it about a week and so far so good. Only time will tell how it will hold up.
