The playlist is good. However there is no timer and the volume control is not very accurate.

Music is kinda loud and annoying… but there is a solution.
My 5 month baby is always so restless and difficult to put to sleep at night. I bought this item that allows for our beautiful handcrafted mobile to rotate with music hoping it will calm him down. My goodness, the tunes are super short (i.e. 5-10 seconds) and are played too fast. It would cycle through all the songs in loops. The volume is really loud even on the lowest setting. Can’t even turn that annoying music off!There is a solution… my husband opened the device and disconnected the wire that goes between the circuit and the speaker. And the music stopped! Now, it just spins the mobile slowly in silence.
Heavy on the Christmas theme
So I clearly did not read the description where âChristmasâ is listed as a theme – this is super odd to me, donât really think I like it. I know many songs have the same tune but it feels like the majority of these are Christmas songs. Iâve also seen people complain that you canât turn the music off and just have it spin but you totally can, you just press the M button. I agree with other reviews that the volume is too loud and the songs are too short and fast paced and I think the frequent cycling through is more distracting than relaxing – that being said, my son still managed to fall asleep with the music on from time to time. I find the controls for the volume but also switching through songs to be confusing (not sure how or why you would skip 5 second songs while using it?) – a remote control might have been nice because itâs awkward to adjust the settings when itâs hanging up, especially if youâre not very tall or if baby is sleeping. I also wouldâve liked there to be a white noise option instead of just music.Overall: does the job but much room for improvement, I donât think weâll actually end up using this as much as I had hoped

My husband and I are so glad we purchased this for our sons mobile. Before we bought this we were constantly winding it up to put the baby to sleep. The only thing I donât like about this part is that you canât play just one song. Some songs have a higher pitch and the volume doesnât go down enough for my liking. I fixed that problem by putting tape on the speakers.
Saved myself having to wind the old one up. I highly recommend
We bought our mobile from a thrift store which didnât have the motor attachment and this works great! Our baby was able to fall asleep to it now that it can move and the music is nice too (but it is helpful that thereâs a mute button!)
So first off it works very well with my homemade mobile. But I am 100% liking the songs it plays. Shockingly it plays quite a few Christmas songs which I was surprised by. Also the songs are very very short and very very fast. The tempo of the songs is like double the speed it should be.
Works really well. Just wish I knew what all the buttons do and how to change playlists.
