Wanted to love this butâ¦
I really love my sense-u clip so I bought the base hoping the extend the range on it. This worked great while in the house near the base; however, I like checking babyâs temperature when we are out to ensure she is not too hot/too cold. Unfortunately, once away from the base, there is no way to connect to the monitor clip via Bluetooth. I wanted to love this item and would have if I was able to connect via Bluetooth when away from the base.Update: Sense-U reached out to me regarding my concerns and have sent the feedback provided to developers so hopefully this will be resolved in the future.Sense-U monitor clip:Pros:-Provides peace of mind being able to check babyâs breathing and being alerted if breathing rate drops- Iâve to be ableTo check babyâs body temperature and to receive alerts if temperature is high/low (and you can customize what temperatures trigger alerts)-rollover alert-able to turn off alerts you are not using (have turned off rollover alerts as baby is not rolling over yet)-Easy to use appOpportunities for improvement:-Would be nice to have the ability to set a schedule for alerts (For example, only turn on rollover alert during sleep hours so alerts do not trigger while performing tummy time)Sense-U Base:Pros:-Increased range: stay connected while monitor is within range of base-Additional data available on app with baseOpportunities for improvement:-Data does not read when away from base (as mentioned in review above)Sense-U swaddle:-very cute design. Piece of mind
I purchased the Sense U Base Staiom to go with the Sense-U Baby Breathing Monitor – Tracks Baby’s Breathing Movement, Temperature, Rollover and Sleeping Position for Baby Safety with Audio Alarm on Smartphones (that I had previously), the base station gives that extra piece of mind as it will sound not only for the monitor alerts but if the room temperature is uncomfortable. Would definitely recommend this purchase or the bundles to save on some money!
Sense of Relief
I can sleep better knowing Iâll be alerted if there are any changes in my babyâs breathing, temperature, position, etc.. the base station has been great, as my sonâs room is out of Bluetooth reach from my room. We have had a few false alarms, where the monitor says his breathing has slowed, and upon checking on him he is breathing fine, but I would rather a few extra alerts rather than none!
