They work very well.
I have purchased two for my home, four for my mother in law, and two for another widow living alone. I know they state the locks are to secure doors from being opened by children, but they Will stop entrance into your home uninvited. The screws are the right length and hardness. The screws pass through the door frame and into the studd. They made it possible for my mother in law to get sleep with out worry, that peace of mind is worth many times more than their cost. They are very easy to install and will last a long time.

This interior door lock is simple and it works very well. It is robust and well made. When installing this device be sure to leave a bit of a loose fit. I installed the first one so that the lock mechanism is snug against the door when in the closed position; that tight fit makes it a bit hard to slide this locking mechanism in and out of position. On the second door I installed this lock with a loose fit; the lock is very easy to slide in and out of position, and it still works very effectively.

These door locks are designed perfectly. Donât listen to any negative comment whatsoever. The screws they come with are perfect length and heavy duty to reach into main studs. It was so easy to install. They fit all the doors I installed on perfectly and it is seriously secure. Itâs designed to go around regular trim/ baseboards donât worry about it fitting it will likely fit. I can sleep more soundly knowing this extra lock is on my front door. Good luck trying to kick it in. Easy to open and close. I highly recommend you add this to any inward swinging door you have to the exterior. Not a bad idea to throw one on your bedroom or the kids bedroom doors too in the event (god forbid) there is an intruder. For the price it is so worth it.

These things are great!Iâve installed them on every door. Once there on and you have locked them you canât open the door from the other side!I suggested you also switch out the small screws on the door located on the plate / striking plate to much longer screws.Great product and I highly recommend.
Trust me when I say this lock does what itâs suppose to do. Extremely good quality. Safety isnât an issue I actually feel very secured having one of these on my door, a very good reinforcement if you ask me. As you can see in my video itâs quite easy to open – 1st pull sideways then pull back and itâs opened very simple. It was also very easy to instal I love how big the screws are which gives me a sense of security because I know itâs not easy to pull out of the wall with the repeated movements of opening and closing. I also love the aluminum finish.

Made well and work as advertised
We got these to prevent our toddler from opening the exterior doors and they work great. Easy to install with a drill and easy to open and close. The toddler cannot reach it and even if she could, it’s complex enough to open for her, but not for adults.
Honestly this product surprised all of us! Purchased for friends that live in a very bad part of town; and this well made product will give them that few extra seconds to get their weapon of choice!!I don’t think you can go wrong for the $ and the easy installation.4.5 out 5.0John
