Gentle soothing
Extremely soothing baby rocker that is nice and gentle with sturdy straps to avoid any accidents.The motor is fairly quiet and masked well by the built in speaker with different white noise options.The easy to remove seat cover is a nice addition to make cleanup easy just in case any messes are made.
Works Well
We didn’t think we needed a baby swing as our original thought was babies outgrow them quickly, they are bulky and are a bit of an investment but when given the chance to test this out we were very happy with it. We have been able to put our daughter down in the swing so we can have our hands free to do a variety of tasks in the same room. The swing is nice and lightweight that we are able to move it to the room that we need to be in. We have even used it outside as it does come with a removeable canopy. While the swing does come with music on it, we love the bluetooth feature to play our own music options instead. The swing does come with a remote control which has also come in handy a few times.We did find that the 3-point harness was too big for our daughter for the first two months even at the tightest setting but we were able to macgyver a fix so she could safely swing.For the price, this is a decent swing if your baby enjoys the swing like ours did but not every baby will.
Great Choice As Baby’s First Swing
Having long ago given away our baby gear from when we had babies of our own, we just learned we will soon have our baby grand daughter coming to visit on a regular basis. Previous experience has proven to us that baby rockers such as this can make life considerably easier when babies fuss or are unhappy. Ordering it was a very easy decision.A gorgeous, subdued pink with grey trim, this rocker is just the right size for our somewhat crowded kitchen area. Weâve had some large units in the past and, while they worked well, they also tended to get in the way of everyday living. This unit is compact and easy to tuck away in a corner. It should be noted that the device is very lightweight, largely due to the fact that the cloth seat is suspended from a metal frame rather than having a solid backing. The weight limit is 27 pounds (or about 12 kg) according to the information on the Amazon product page. The instruction manual states it is not for use once the baby can sit up on its own or weighs more than 9 kg.The swing arrives neatly packed in a surprisingly small box. We werenât overly impressed with the instructions for setup that were included; thankfully the unit was very straight forward and we had it up and running in about twenty minutes. The only tool required for assembly is a screwdriver which is included in the package. The rocker needs to be plugged into a power outlet (or a power bank) to function.One of the things that we love about this unit is the fact that it offers a pair of different control options. You can use the buttons located on the base of the unit or, alternatively, the remote control provided with the rocker. Regardless of which method you select, operation is very straight forward; there are five different motion settings, three different timer settings, (8, 15 or 30 minutes) and music volume and a button to select which of the ten lullabies programmed into the rocker you want the baby to listen to. One of the features that we really love about this swing is that it can be paired with a smart device via bluetooth and then you and the baby can enjoy listening to any song on your playlists!The motion provided by the rocker is suitable for young babies. It mimics gently swaying sideways while holding a baby in your arms. There is no up and down movement, only side to side motion. The five âunique motionsâ described on the product page is, perhaps, a bit deceptive. All five motions are essentially the same; the only thing that varies is how far the seat actually swivels while moving. Selecting number one provides the least movement from side to side and, as the numbers increase, the amount of motion correspondingly increases.The cloth seat of the unit is well padded, soft, and comfortable. It is machine washable and, while you might need to tilt the rocker slightly to access the snaps that hold it in place, removing it from the device is quite easy. The seatâs three point safety strap is adjustable and partially padded. The unit does have a canopy with netting for outdoor use. It clips on to the main frame of the unit and provides decent protection from annoying mosquitoes or other insects. It is also great at keeping light away from the babyâs eyes and for protecting the baby from sunlight when outdoors. This canopy has two small suspended toys for the baby to see and play with; they are removable and washable. You could even substitute your own small toys into the slots for variety for the baby.This is a lovely rocker/swing for young babies. Its light weight and compact size make it easy to move about and find a spot for. The fact that it can play music selected from your smart device is a real bonus. While my wife and I feel that the unit might have benefited from a few more motion options we are both satisfied that this will provide the soothing comfort that baby will require for about the first six months. Recommended.
