Best WiFi thermometer hydrometer
The sensors are very precise and I particularly liked the ability to calibrate the sensors, with instructions provided in the app. I also like that it logs every few seconds and can have historical data up to two years. The app is also very easy to use with a good UI.
Cost effective and very accurate.
This product works great! For such a low price, it’s a great buy! You can see the temperature and humidity anytime using your smart phone. I have one taped to my cold water pipe in my garage so I will know if it ever freezes in winter. Great insurance to prevent pipes from bursting. I also have one on the pipes in the basement. These units have good range, provide accurate readings and are very Cost effective. I will definitely buy more for other areas in the house.
Very precise thermometer that you can take anywhere as long as you have the app or some other mean.
I have this device setup with Home Assistant and I build a couple of Bluetooth bridges around the house. That way the connection is never lost, even when I take it outside! Just to say that for my applications this is perfect. I like that I can move it to different locations without having to worry about breaking it. It also worked very well in my freezer. It’s also useful for remote places monitoring since the data is stored in the thermometer for a long period of time. Just get near the device to get its past data.
Seems to work but some features are flaky
I bought several of these and a mini hub and for the most part, they do what I expected. However, the ones I added to the app before I defined rooms and hence I changed their rooms afterwards, all revert back to not in a room even though the settings are saved. Some of them also have graphs that are out of date by days, apparently new readings are not being recorded on the server though the current reading does show, they just stop being recorded on the graph for some reason, worked fine for about a week then just stopped on some units. I think the release mechanism to open up the battery case should be more apparent, as it is, I can see myself pulling it off the wall to figure out how to open it and then finding some two sided tape to stick it back on the wall.Overall, a nice product that does what I want, but the app and data recording to the server through the hub is flaky. I have plenty of ways to determine the temperature (even the Echo Dot 5’s measure temperatures) but the graph on this makes it convenient as I don’t have to download raw data and graph myself as I would with say a Nest thermostat, that is so long as the graph continues to work which apparently, sometimes it doesn’t.
Sleek, accurate, seemingly non-“buggy”
I got more than expected with this neat little kit. It was pretty simple to set up. Though the instructions don’t have much fine detail as to setting up some specific functions and customization, if you’re familiar with navigating apps it’s not difficult to figure things out. The app easily guides you through the initial setup, and there is more detail in their online support, but still no deep diving into details.It does everything as described and much more. I didn’t realize the hub unit was more than just the control centre for the remote sensors. It’s actually a whole home automation hub. Not that I’m interested in all that other stuff, but the IR blaster remote control learning feature is pretty cool. Besides attempting to identify and match your various remote controls, you can customize any buttons on an existing layout OR “build” your own custom remote. I made a hybrid combined remote of the buttons I use most often on my TV and my home theatre receiver. You can also set it to hide any buttons on a template that aren’t assigned, or “learned”, so it removes all the clutter.So I’m very happy so far. Yet to determine longevity, especially of the sensor I placed outside. Hopefully no issues.
No support. They ask you to try a bunch of stuff then ignore you
After 4 weeks, the app stopped receiving data from the sensors.But the app keeps showing current values, so you might not know unless/until you try to export data.They told me to unplug the hub, refresh the app, then power on the hub. It didn’t fix it, so I asked for replacement equipment. They stopped responding to messages so I called and asked for replacement equipment. They said yes. Later, they canceled the replacement equipment and said a new version of the app would fix it. I downloaded it. It did not fix it. I again asked for replacement equipment. They again stopped responding. Their support is a sad joke
Works in my freezer
The device is solidly constructed and works well. Itâs been in our spare freezer for two weeks and the batteries are still at 100%. Iâm using it without a hub so I get only basic functions. In the app it shows graphs of the temperature and humidity as well as min.,max. and avg temperature and humidity. Iâm impressed with this device and will get a hub and more devices from SwitchBot.
Small but effective Bluetooth outdoor thermostat.
Itâs smaller than what I presumed from the Amazon page. Year, works wll, easy to set up and use. Highly recommend it.
I’m using this product to monitor the inside temperature in the back of the school bus I drive. There’s a huge temperature difference from front to back. Product was easy to setup and is working flawlessly connecting to my phone via Bluetooth. It reports the continuous data it captures each time I connect in the morning and afternoon. Besides temp, it also tracks humidity which has come in handy to help reduce the condensation on the windows by adding dryer air in zones. And, it’s a great value! Would recommend.

Werkt op 1 AAA batterij (meegeleverd).De app is handig en een mooi overzicht van meerdere weken. Verbinding is via bluetooth rechtstreeks in de app of via een Relais (apart aan te kopen) via wifi.Ik kocht een 3 pack zonder display en ben er heel tevreden over.

Home assistant
Very impressive bit of kit. It was easy to set up and download the app. We wanted it to monitor the temperature in our shed during the winter where we have placed some delicate plants. The bluetooth signal penetrates a thick wall from a good distance so the temperature can be monitored from the house. The app gives regular readings and plots a graph where you can see how the temperature (and humidity) has varied. It will be useful to put in other locations at different times of the year. The readings are accessible on both my iPhone and iPad. Great value too.
