I was worried about this product working well because it is not actually v-tech brand but it works great. My son liked to unplug and play with the monitors like they were walkie-talkies so the original cord was literally falling apart and would no longer work. This one works great! It has a bright blue light on the outlet part that shows you that they unit is plugged into the wall which is nice because I don’t accidentally forget to plug it in. I like the blue light because it also acts as a night-light in my room so when I have to get up with the baby I can see without leaving an actual light on.
Got a great deal on used from Amazon warehouse, looks absolutely new no visible issue.Using it on Vtech audio monitor as the original one stopped working.Working fine for last one month. Happy with this product.
After my new kitten ate the parent cord, we spent a long time switching between units to keep it charged. Cord fits and charges well. I can confirm what some others have said, the cord is not as snug as the original and can fall out if jostled too much. We don’t move the unit, or unplug it, so not an issue for us.Side note, it was shipped out quickly and arrived ahead of schedule!
I had a baby monitor that’s wired both broke after a few years. I got 2 of these and they have been wonderful. Great quality, nice and long and no signs of wear after over a year of use. I’m grateful I was able to find a plug replacement for the monitors so I didn’t have to replace them.
Our cat decided to chew through the original power adapter plug for our parent unit and we bought this as a replacement. The light is a bit bright but it’s on a power strip under our dresser so not a big deal. It works perfect and is exactly what we needed!
