I got this for my 6 month old for a 12 hour trip I had to take myself; it was a life saver. I could see that he was ok and I could tell when he was about to get upset so I could watch for the next exit. It was huge for piece of mind. We also got the whole travel kit and used it as our monitor while at the airbnb. The monitor went over 50 feet away and never stopped working. It was so easy to install too!
I thought that I was going to have problems setting it up as Iâm not great at âinstallingâ things but this was really simple to fit and the adjustable straps gave a good, sturdy installation. I was able to put the mirror on the headrest on the seat directly behind the driver’s seat and angle it so I can see my son perfectly AND it DOES NOT block any of my rearview. The overall finish was really nice too, I purchased the white matte version and it looks really stylish and is easy to wipe clean.
Worked great for a few months but now itâs constantly disconnecting. It disconnected while driving in the middle of my child coughing pretty badly and went silent. Imagine the panic of not knowing why he stopped and being unable to immediately stop the vehicle. Immediately got a wired option for the time being and would hope for a refund or potentially a replacement. But based on other reviews, it sounds like a common issue so not sure how Iâd feel about trying it again.
This camera was great until it stopped working. We have only been using it for about 5 and a half months. And for how expensive it is this has me so upset. It says it’s disconnected and it’s not. It’s connected everywhere and apparently this is a problem with other peoples as well. I’m hoping the company does the right thing and replaces it. Will update if they do.Update: I gave the company all the information and they never replaced this item. Terrible company that doesn’t stand behind their very expensive products. Would stay far away. This worked amazing for the first couple months. Then suddenly the camera would glitch and click until it stopped working altogether. Iâve tried everything, but nothing seems to work. Monitor is still fine, but canât use it because the camera doesnât work.
