In my opinion, this looks bigger in the pictures than in reality. Set it up on my LO’s twin bed. She moves around a lot and has fallen. I can probably use two of them. Regardless, I like the look and its pretty sturdy.

Not sturdy on my bed
I bought this bed guards because it is compact and fits in a suitcase. I wanted to bring it on vacation to use at the hotel. Unfortunately it wasn’t solid when we installed it on our bed. It would not prevent a fall and easily fell out with a light push. I did not trust to use this with my baby and I am returning it.I still have it a 3 star as I did like how it is foldable and compact, it fits in a suitcase, and it may work on other beds depending on the bed frame. It was also quick and easy to install.

Hollow, sturdy once fit, light.
As it is, it does the job, but I was taken aback by the lack of stuffing in the guard. It is hollow, and not all of the skeleton bars have rubber on it. A missed opportunity. Thus, if the person happens to hit that one bar that does not have the rubber coating, it could be a slightly painful bump. Strange that they missed one bar, and all the other skeleton bars have the rubber coating for protection. This could have been a better product than what it looks like if they had put a stuffing in the guard, and/or had rubber coatings for all the bars. Other than that, it is easy to use, and the feel of the covering is smooth and soft to touch. Currently too expensive
When I ordered this , it was half the price and not on sale. It is currently selling for 173.99 and I do not think this is worth the current price. My rating is largely based on that. If it were still listed under 80 dollars, like when I ordered I would rate higher. It is decently sturdy and very easy to use. Once installed on the bed it works well and feels stable. It is light weight and great for travel, It also folds up reasonably small. I would have rated this 4 stars if the price was still what it was when I ordered it a little over a month ago.

The railing’s frame is made of metal, which is covered over by a thin, stretchy fabric. The whole thing is fairly light-weight for it’s size. When not in use, and to save space, the railing can be folded up for storage. There is even a storage bag included.The storage bag is made from a material that feels similiar to that which is used to make windbreaker jackets. It’s very thin, and appears to me to be of the higher range of low quality, or at least on the lower range of medium quality material. There are some left over tail threads that were not clipped short enough, but they do not otherwise appear to be affecting the stitching itself, or the knots, as so far I have not found any unraveling. The zipper appears to be within the medium quality range.This bed railing is reasonably easy to install, and to use. Installation involves sliding the railing’s metal frame inbetween the bed frame and the mattress, or box springs, depending on the bed frame design and user preference, while keeping the railing’s frame positioned above the bed-frame. It does also come with a couple seperate straps for anyone who might want to utilize this more secure installation method. Be sure to consult the installation instructions if you do want to use the straps.Do note, however, that the full and proper alignment of the box springs and mattress positioning with the railing positioning might not always be possible, depending on the design style of each bed frame model. In such a case, simply sliding the railing frame under the mattress while staying above the box springs could still work fine. This is actually the method I have chosen, and so far it’s working just fine this way.So I had decided to install the frame inbetween my mattress and box springs at the foot area of my bed. As a disabled person with spine issues, I do often toss and turn. Despite that, this railing has not moved much on it’s own. But when I do notice that it has, then the fix has been quite simple. I just gently tap it back into place. Also, it has done a great job so far of preventing my pillow (which I use for relieving back and leg pain during sleep) from falling off the bed at that particuliar spot.My only critique, so far, is that the metal frame can be felt through my mattress. This is, of course, uncomfortable, but has been barely noticeable anyways since I do use it at the foot of my bed. Alternately, a thick, good quality mattress pillow-top can help reduce, or prevent, the railing’s frame from being felt through the mattress.4 out of 5 stars.
