Amazing chair
The cross bar at the bottom came cracked and registering the product seems to be impossible the chair itself is beautiful and the newborn set has been delightful for someone who spends alot of time in the kitchen. Something I wish I had with my first 2 kids. Friends said it was their number 1 baby purchase for a splurge. And I’ll stand by that.

Most of the reviews are pretty accurate in that the product comes slightly damaged, looks like it’s used but since there are so many reviews saying the same thing, it might be that the wood chips from the delivery and handling? Anyways sturdy product and nicer than the baby high chairs you normally buy but does come chipped. mine was chipped on the front foot but we decided to keep it. will use it for our next baby as well. If I didn’t buy this I would rather use the UpSeat as you can place it on a regular chair and has the same ergonomic fit and function plus it;s more versatile. Anyways, it’s an okay sturdy/stylish chair for a pricy $$. It’s also short (not to be used to sit with the family on island tables or high tables).
This chair has been great for us. We bought it for our three-year-old who was in a high chair with wheels and I was constantly worried about him falling out of it. With this chair he can climb in and out very easily and sit at the table with us much more comfortably. When we initially got it he was in and out constantly throughout meal times, there are no buckles to keep him in the chair. We had to set a rule that as soon as he leaves the table the food goes away and he doesnât get any more if he comes back to the table. That solved the problem of him getting in and out of the chair at meal time.I really like the way the chair looks and he is comfortable in it. I absolutely recommend it and we will likely end up getting a second one.
Absolutely the best product ever⦠incredibly expensive. However our 2.5 year old eats with us. Asks for second helpings and says all done when sheâs done eating. I wonder if the chair contributes to better eating?? (Albeit the division of responsibility does- ask your Pediatrician about it or google it); what the chair offers is independence to get into and off of the chair. We purchased a universal buckle strap with padding that goes around her waist. She eats with us at the table and we just place the variety of food on her plate, with a couple toddler friendly options that she chooses and trust her when it comes to eating. She does the rest. And IT IS SUCH A BETTER EATING EXPERIENCE for everyone. I recommend this chair and love it so much our baby has the complete baby chair also! I wish I knew of this sooner.I feel the crummy high chair we used to have is the reason why our daughter had difficulty at meal times. Sheâd have her feet up on the high tray, she definitely appeared uncomfortable and we believe this is why she had difficulty eating. She always wanted to âget outâ so to speak⦠her feet dangled etc.If youâre on the fence line, Iâd say at least trial it! They have the 90 day return window and Iâm confident youâll end up keeping it like we did!
My daughter began using the Tripp Trapp chair 2 weeks ago and already the top laminate has begun to buckle (see photos). I thought it was made of actual solid wood, but it appears not. We haven’t been rough or done anything to damage it. I’m pretty shocked this hasn’t held up better with how positive the reviews are!
